Ive had the great pleasure of working with Martan both on stage and in the recording studio. Martan is superb as a pianist, arranger, performer and teacher. I feel completely fortunate to know him, because hes simply a wonderful human being, but its an added blessing to have had the opportunity to work with him. Martan is one of those «can do anything» kind of musicians, artful and highly skilled. Hes a great player and a great teacher. I give him the highest recommendation.

For years, when spending time in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve always enjoyed the chance to hear Martan Mann performing solo or with groups. He is a delightfully skilled, creative, and versatile pianist! It was a wonderful discovery to find that he is offering his piano ideas online in a teaching format. This works so well for those of us who prefer getting our piano lessons on the road or according to our own time tables! Martan’s materials are visually well crafted, interesting, and offer concise jazz skill building information. Kudos to Martan for putting together this wonderful course study!
