Adler Advanced Dentistry has been serving Boulder County for over 25 years. Dr. Adler is an LVI trained cosmetic, general, and TMJ dentist. Our goal is to provide you with excellent customer service as well as options for treatment that fit your individual needs.

Dr. Michael Adler is pleased to be able to bring a diverse background of academic research and life experiences to his practice. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Dr. Adler worked as a research biochemist at Stanford University prior to enrolling and completing his dental degree at Georgetown University.

Dr. Adler served as a Lieutenant in the United States Public Health Service, providing care and patient education on the Navajo Reservation. For this service, Dr. Adler was awarded a prestigious commission by Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop. Dr. Adler has been in private practice since 1990.

Dr. Adler is committed to lifelong training as a way to be able to offer you the best dental care possible. His postgraduate training has been extensive, including studies on the topics of neuromuscular dentistry and smile design at the nationally reputed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. Adler is also certified to provide Invisalign orthodontics to his patients.

I can’t say enough good things about Adler Dentistry. Having some major BAD experiences with my last couple dentists, I had a lot of anxiety heading in to this much needed appointment. To my surprise they remembered me from simply booking my appointment, and had many options to help me feel comfortable and informed (as much or as little as you need/​want) about what was going on. The technology was fantastic and the entire staff was welcoming and super nice — I felt like I had been a patient there for years! I can confidently say that this is the kind of office that I would travel to should I ever move from Boulder. Top notch service! Thank you!

I was a bit skeptical about the neuromuscular dentistry treatment for my TMJ, but it does work. It’s non invasive (a huge plus) and while you can’t see results immediately, it is worth it to be patient and go regularly. Dr. Adler, Carly and Heather are very warm and understanding, even when I’m the cranky patient. It’s an expensive treatment modality, but it works. Highly recommend.

Another great experience. Went in for a cleaning today and it was wonderful. The whole team is friendly and professional. They offered me coffee or sparkling water when I got there and I got warm towel after the cleaning that smelled like essential oils. They have really helped me with my gums with the chewable probiotics they offer and the cleanings. Dr. Adler and Heather have been working with my 15 year old son in his Invisalign and he has great results already. I have been very please with this office and would highly recommend it. Worth the drive from Broomfield!

Excellent visit today… I was greeted warmly with a friendly staff and spotless environment.
Talia cleaned my teeth efficiently and basically painlessly (given the state my teeth were in :)) and was very professional.

I transferred here from another dentist and have really enjoyed my experience. I have to have cleanings a bit more often then others and Talia was very attentive and careful with my cleaning. It was one of my better experiences!
The office is nice and clean, and I really loved the hot towel after my cleaning. Dr Adler took the time to talk through what I have going on explain my options.
Lastly, I really like the text message reminders, they are very helpful. Great experience and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

I have been going to Adler Advanced Dentistry since I moved to Boulder 3 years ago. I see them for Invisalign treatments as well as overall dental care. The whole team is so great to work with. I love how comfortable I feel from the moment I walk in the door. No more dental anxiety for me. I love that they use cutting edge techniques and equipment. I also enjoy the advice I get from the hygienists on what I can do at home to keep my teeth and gums in tip top shape between cleanings. Dr Adler and his team are always working on ways to improve the health of my mouth. My teeth are in the best shape they have ever been in. And now that I am on my way to a straighter smile I couldn’t be more pleased.

I have known Dr. Adler since 1999 when I first moved back into Colorado after being abroad in Japan for 7 years. After not having seen a dentist in Japan, I needed some periodontal work and it was great to have healthy gums back after that. He and his staff have always been courteous, knowledgable and professional.
He pulled my wisdom teeth when I was 31 years old and I was really scared but Dr. Adler quelled my fears and did it quickly and painlessly.
Dr. Adler is the best in his field for cosmetic dentistry and I value his skill and his word.
The staff is amazing. They are funny, professional and always, always provide the answers and help I need. After I have my teeth cleaned, they are white and smooth because Thalia et al do the best they can. I’ve never had someone work on my teeth with such regard for perfection!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Adler for something like 24 years now, and have almost always gotten good service from him and the rest of his staff. The office is comfortable, and they’re always using the latest technology to maintain my mouth’s health. The only negative things to say are that the office is far away now that I live in Denver, nobody really loves going to the dentist, and the fees are always higher than the «standard» prices my insurance will pay for.

Dr. Adler. Is a terrific dentist. His expertise and sensitiviity to his patients’ needs are exceptional. Dr. Adler’s work and his team are superb.
I have never been to a more careful and caring dentist than Dr. Adler. I strategically plan my trips to Colorado to coincide with my biannual checkups. I fly in from California just to have Dr. Adler and his hygienist work on my teeth. I will continue to travel to see him and his team.

This office is wonderful! They scheduled my appointments quickly and also sent reminder emails and text messages. Dr. Adler took this time to explain both the dental processes and the great tech they have. They use a cavity detector laser! I returned a week after my initial visit for a cleaning and had another great experience! The hygienist was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. After my cleaning they handed me a lavender infused warm towel for my face and hands, sent me off with product samples, and rescheduled my 6 month visit. This whole visit took a little under an hour, they have a very efficient team at Adler Advanced Dentistry!

I found this place from a guy at work. He told me they are really good and I’ve have a lot of traumatic experiences in the past with evil dentists. This place is awesome. Best dental experience I’ve ever had. I came in a few weeks ago for a cleaning and dental exam and dr Adler found some fillings that need to be done. They gave me a quote for the work and my insurance covers most of it. The gal who did my fillings after dr Adler drilled was very kind and kept asking how I was doing. Dr Adler gave me some numbing that worked right away and was painless. I felt nothing the whole time. The only thing I didn’t like was the shot but it wasn’t as bad as the last office I went to. I have a few more fillings to do and I’m not nervous to do them at all. I will recommend this dental office to everyone at my work who has my insurance.

When I originally went to this dentist, I specifically asked the front office to verify my coverage and let me know what my copays and my part of the billing would be so that I could pay them since my job with my dental insurance would be ending soon. They gave me the information so I paid what they asked me to pay. MORE THAN A YEAR LATER, right after I asked to be taken off of their reminder list since I wouldn’t be going back to them, they suddenly decided that I owed them money! I hadn’t been to see them in over a year, and I never received any bill until I asked to be taken off of their reminder email list. Since then, I have been going back and forth with them, asking them for my records, and for my bills to see if they are even valid. I have continually been ignored, threatened and lied to. This is the sleaziest, most unprofessional, expensive dental office in town.

It felt like the mission of this practice is to squeeze the most money possible out of patients as long as they have them in their chair. The Dentist outfitted my daughter with an expander that was not needed according to two other specialists (a Dentist and an Orthodontist). My son’s teeth had previously been checked by two Orthodontists who concluded he needed no intervention at all. He was visiting this practice for routine dental care and they told us he needed an expander as well. This is when we left the practice. If you have better things to do with your money and your time, avoid this practice.

This was the Greatest dentist experience I’ve ever had. No wait, very professional, kind, and gentle. Doctor kept close tabs on how I felt during treatment. Hygienist was equally considerate and professional. I have brought my son here as well for braces and he had a great experience as well.
I would recommend Dr Adler and team to everyone. Finally a good dentist.

He is one of the people that he will try to get as much money as he can from you and leave you with crappy mouth! I got to replace the crown he made and some of the fillings. It was only a year after and he charged me double than what you’d pay in other dentists. He has a fancy office and equipment but he is not professional.
I wouldn’t recommend him. Don’t waste your money and time. You won’t have a good experience.

This was the best experience I have had with a dentist. I had a tooth that was cracked and I waited a little longer than I should have to get it fixed. I called first thing in the morning and Carly told me to come right in (as a new patient I really appreciated that). I got in and Laura his assistant was very very nice. She put me at ease when we discussed the plan of action for this tooth (it had to come out). When Dr. Adler came in he made me feel at ease he let me know step by step what he was going to do and boom the tooth was out.
I would recommend this practice to any of my friends.

This guy and his team are jerks. Unprofessional and demeaning, it seems like every recommendation they make is solely for the purpose of paying off equipment they’ve purchased. When you decline the «up sell,» he makes snide comments about you forfeiting your dental health. Hey, dude, I don’t have an extra $ 3000 to get each tooth undergo root planing and scaling just because you think it would be a «good idea.» You know what’s worse? His recommendations were not made in good faith: I went to a few other dentists to get a professional opinion. I saved a lot of dough taking this extra step. I overheard him get in a fight with the oral surgeon; she was NOT recommending this scaling/​planing service, saying she thought the patient was fine. Adler just bought this machine, so I guess that takes precedence.
I had some photos taken to assess my smile and the younger assistants were actually laughing at the photos and mocking me. Ladies, the office isn’t that big and it’s quiet in there; people can hear everything.
Honestly, I’d recommend Perfect Teeth over these guys… and that isn’t saying much.
