AVANTI Skin Center of Boulder

I apologize ahead of time for those of you who don’t appreciate long reviews, but I’m very thorough and want to share my experience with everyone! :)
I went to Avanti of Boulder last June to have SmartLipo done on my knees. I was talked into doing the saddlebags as well, which was a problem area for me. The procedure itself wasn’t too horribly bad, with only a few stings here and there and the knees were a little bit more painful in the last section (removal of the fat). The recovery was tolerable, although I was very swollen on my knees and bruised for over a month. Because of the knees, it was kind of difficult to walk for a few weeks, but the saddlebags were great after a couple of weeks.
After I healed completely, I came to the dissatisfying conclusion that my knees were nowhere near where I wanted them to be after such a long recovery (and a LARGE chunk of change later). When I found out Dr. Schlosser had retired, I had a bit of a panic attack thinking I would not be able to get the revisions I was promised, should I need them.
***When I went in to discuss my concerns with the new Dr. Roesner, I was more than pleased with his bright and humorous personality, but more importantly, his willingness to fix my problem. He talked me through everything, made me feel extremely comfortable and was so very thorough and knowledgable of how to fix it. Although Dr. Schlosser used a combination of the SmartLipo and the Vaser machines for my original procedure, Dr. Roesner felt more confident in using the Vaser, as he explained that it should work much better for my situation.
The procedure went smoothly this time as well, with only minor pain at certain spots. I’m almost a week after the procedure and I am SO happy to say that after only 2 days following the surgery, I felt as good as I did a MONTH after the last one! I have been able to get around and walk «normal» for several days now and the pain is very minimal. Dr. Roesner took out a large amount of fat this time and was so confident in how the procedure went, that he really couldn’t say enough about how great my results should be. His perfectionism was truly at its best, as he stood at every angle of my body, making sure he was happy with his work. I cannot express how happy I am to know that I will be getting what I dreamed of, and most importantly, what I paid for!***
Along with my surgery «consoler», Jen (who was so wonderful!), Lori at the Front Desk and of course the wonderful Dr. Roesner, I would HIGHLY recommend Avanti of Boulder to anyone. It’s truly amazing to me how I could change my opinion of something all because of a second experience that was much better than the first. Thanks Avanti!

Positives: I really like the atmosphere of Avanti. They were always welcoming and friendly whenever I came to the office. The office was clean and comfortable.
Negatives: I had 6 laser hair removal treatments there. After each visit, I would notice that they missed some hairs. And now that I’m done with my appointments, I still have some hairs growing.
I know they only guarantee 80% effectiveness of hair removal, however, I think they could have been better at zapping all the hairs at every session. Especially since the treatments are pricey!

Horrible! I went in for Botox and just wanted a very conservative amount (I’m only 30) and they refused to do it. The woman was not very kind and I don’t know why someone would turn away business.

Well, what can I say. If there is a laser out there in «the west», it will be found at Avanti. On my visit at the facility, I was amazed at the beauty, cleanliness, and warmth (of the staff). Diana greeted me, and guided me into one of the treatment rooms. Her warmth, knowledge, and professionalism made it clear to me that this place was the only place for me to consider laser treatment.
