We specialize in finding and providing the best sustainably grown, micro-​lot relationship coffee’s from across the globe. We are dedicated to creating sustainability across the entire supply chain. We also are committed to education about coffee from seed to cup. Planted from an enduring commitment to the generational prosperity of third world coffee communities and fueled by the inextinguishable pursuit of an honest product. We are not reinventing coffee, we are taking it back!

History

Established in 2011.

Founded in 2011 in Louisville, Colorado — we moved to North Boulder in July 2012 to set up our roasting, education and tasting facility.

Tamas C.

Business Owner

Tamas has always been passionate about coffee and the culinary arts. He grew up in a remote area of Southern Colorado where is parents operate a wolf education facility called Mission: Wolf. It was there that at an early age he became a coffee aficionado. He studied a combination of Chemical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Colorado in Boulder and decided to follow his long lived passion for coffee. Combining his knowledge of chemistry, engineering and culinary artistry — he strives to produce the finest coffee available in Colorado. Using secret roasting recipes developed over 25 years by his life-​long friend and founder of the Coffee Roasters’ Alliance — Dragonfly Coffee Roasters produces not just good coffee — but truly exceptional masterpieces in each batch!
