Ecoscape Environmental Design, LLC was founded in 2000 in Boulder, Colorado as a landscape design firm specializing in native and edible landscapes. In 2004 we incorporated a complete design, installations, and maintenance programs to offer you greater convenience in developing a healthy landscape. With the goal of creating exceptional outdoor living environments, we fuse functionality with aesthetic appeal to offer you the true sense of peace and wonderment. We offer ecological forest management, noxious weed management, ecological rehabilitation/​native revegetation, Firewood and snowplowing services. As a company dedicated to caring for the land, Naturally, we have been recognized and certified by PACE (Partners for a Clean Environment) as a Sustainable Landscape Company since 2005 recognizing our ecological approach toward landscaping. In 2006 we achieved certification by GreenCO (Green Companies of Colorado) recognizing our knowledge and applied skills of water conservation.

Meet the Business Owner

Bill M.

Business Owner

Bill is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s School of Environmental Design in Boulder, has been a certified Permaculture Designer for over 15 years, and has extensive hands on experience working the land for over 2 decades; from landscaper to organic farmer, forester to outdoor education. Since 2000, Bill has been the owner of Ecoscape, working with his clients to create landscapes that are not only beautiful, but appropriate for our region.

Originally Bill hails from the Hudson River Valley of New York. As a young man Bill was enticed by the mountains of Colorado where he relocated to in the late 80’s, and truly discovered the wonders of nature. Bill shares his passion for our native flora, edible and medicinal landscaping, and ecological land management through his teachings, locally and beyond.
