Great service from people who know what they are doing. We could have gotten our shoes anywhere, but we came here for the expertise. You can help yourself run better and stay injury-​free longer with the right pair of shoes, but you might need some expert sizing and advice and accessories. This is where Fleet Feet come in. After you get your shoes, celebrate with some good ice cream, just next door. :)

After calling and failing at REI, the Boulder Running Company and Runner’s Roost, I remembered about Fleet Feet and called them looking for a somewhat obscure item: a replacement cap for a flask for my Amphipod fuel belt. The woman who answered the phone knew just what I was talking about and had them available. I made the trek (it’s a bit far for me and my toddler was NOT happy about the drive) and when I announced myself at the counter, the salesperson pulled one out for me. I took my wallet out and she said, «No charge, it’s yours.» Or something like that. WOW! Made my day and then I spent my money on a crappy, tasteless bagel at Moe’s. More on that later. :)

I used to always go to Boulder Running Company but when Fleet Feet moved to its North Broadway location, I think it’s the better place to go. The people who work there are runners themselves with years of experience. The shoe selection is not as large as Boulder Running Company but Fleet Feet has shoes you actually would want to wear and run in. They rent wetsuits too. Not crowded, easy parking, and best coffee in town (Vic’s) is three doors down.

I just started training for my first marathon, and headed to Fleet Feet for a new pair of shoes. My boyfriend had previously had a good experience here, so I thought I would check them out. The staff was so encouraging of my marathon goal and spent 45 minutes measuring and fitting my feet, then recommended 3 or 4 different shoes in different price points and brands for me to try. They watched me run outside around the parking lot to see the shoes in action. Found a pair that fits great, and their prices were very fair as well. They also have a program where when you spend $ 150 you get a $ 15 coupon for next time. If you’re looking for a solid pair of running shoes, this is by far the best place I have found! Keep up the great work Fleet Feet!

Terrific store. I recently cut back mileage to transition to a midfoot strike and Lilly, the owner, was very helpful in finding the right shoe. It turns out my feet have shrunk a size and a half in the six years since I last had a gait analysis. Good to know! A broader selection of shoes (i.e. Saucony Mirage) would warrant five stars.

I just had the best shopping experience at Fleet Feet. I just started training for my first marathon, and I needed a new pair of shoes. I usually just get whatever is on sale at REI, but I felt like I needed to get some professional advice. Lilly, the store owner (I believe) and her assistant spent a full 45 minutes dedicated to getting me the perfect shoes and insoles. They studied my feet, watched me walk around barefoot, and videotaped me on the treadmill running in various pairs of shoes. I left with a great new set-​up that I’m excited to try out. The store also guarantees your satisfaction, so they assured me that if I didn’t like the insoles, I could bring them back. I also just have to note that I have bought a pair of shoes at the Boulder Running Company, and the experience there was not have as good as my experience at Fleet Feet. They had me try on one pair of shoes, put me on a treadmill, said that I pronated, and then sent me home with a pair of shoes that were only OK. If you are a runner in Boulder (and I just know that you are), I would check out Fleet Feet instead!
