This place is great. Have the Pork and Chilli tacos, cheese and hot/​sauce. Upslope Oatmeal Stout. Ask for Garrett at the bar and Erick for the Tacos.

Got to Chilpolte!!!
I orderered meat*2 + guac + hot sauce.
Mind you that’s three things in the bowl and they were adamant about charging me $ 9+
I couldn’t believe it. More often than not I’m charged around $ 6 for the same thing.
Stafff were unfriendly (aka: not commensurate with ‘THE’ Illegal Petes mission statement).
I pivoted to Illegal Petes being that its a superior experience to Chipotle, however tonight ruinded it!!! WTF Illegal Petes??? How can you provide me an epic experience in nights past, yet tell me to go screw myself tonight?
Get your shit together! Treating your regulars like garbage isn’t acceptable!

If Qdoba and Your Local Sport’s bar had a baby, that child would be Illegal Pete’s.
Who doesn’t love Qdoba and Sports? It’s a good combo to me. I enjoyed the upbeat vibe. The food was tasty, I ordered a Taco Salad with the works (guac, rice, beans, pico & corn salsa mix, topped with a light sprinkle of cheese).
You really can’t go wrong with Illegal Pete’s for a quick bite to eat or a place to catch a game with your friends.

Illegal Pete’s has the best Happy Hour on The Hill. It lasts until 8pm everyday while most restaurants near campus end their happy hour around 6. The new location is much better than the last– the prior location hardly had any seating and was usually empty upstairs. Every time I’ve been to Illegal Pete’s since the new location opened its been packed!

I love Illegal Pete’s. This location is really convenient to get to from campus, and I come here more often than I probably should. But what am I supposed to do? Their burritos and taquitos are soooo delicious! I would definitely recommend illegal petes to anyone looking for a chipotle-​style experience, but way better!

They close at 12:00 on weekdays went in at 1150 and they denied my business, I understand how it goes when you are trying to get out at the end of the night, but that’s why I would tip the employees, very very disappointed that I couldn’t get a burrito that I was craving during my whole work out.

An old favorite in a new spot right around the corner! No surprise that the food is just as good as ever, the staff is just as friendly, and the new space feels roomier and more comfortable than the original location. Best mission style burritos in Boulder — some of my particular favorites are the fish burrito or tacos and the breakfast burritos. Rock on, Pete’s!
