With at least 30 years of experience and thousands of homes inspected, we felt confident we chose the best inspector for our needs. The home we are considering is an older home, so we wanted to make sure to cover every possible concern. Eric was incredibly thorough and knowledgable! We also received an education from the inspection. Eric is professional, genuine, and really takes his time not to miss anything. The report we received was also very thorough, and he followed up to make sure we understood everything. We also felt it was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Inspex to anyone needing a home inspection!

We had a great experience with Eric. He spent a lot of time educating us about the home and never made us feel rushed. In addition to walking through the property with us for two hours he also taught us a lot about the home by phone in advance of the inspection. His report was prompt (delivered that night) and the most thorough I have seen (this is my third time buying a home). His report has check boxes for everything that could possibly be wrong, so I especially appreciated knowing what wasn’t wrong as well as what was. He even called us the day after our inspection to see if we had any outstanding questions. I recommend him highly!

Eric went through with us in detail the renovated mountain cabin we were buying. His walk through identified not only the issues that appear in his report, but also provided a tutorial in good and bad mechanical/​structural/​electrical/​plumbing practices highlighting the many positives in our home. No cutting corners. No abbreviated communication. Hard to believe there is anyone else in the home inspection business that brings the experience and devotion to detail that Eric does.

We fully appreciate the amount of knowledge and honesty that we came to experience in our time working with Eric. He was detailed and thorough with the inspection of our new home. Not only did he spend quality time inspecting and testing the systems throughout the house but he wrote a full and detailed report. He took as much time as was needed to walk us through the house pointing out all the issues that we are inheriting. He also explained possible solutions. We were then able to use the details of his report to ask for seller concessions which went on to save us quite a bit of work on the house and money at closing. Eric loves the work that he does and it shows.
