Got my tongue pierced here and have gotten a new ring in it multiple times! The two owners are so helpful and nice, and they even remembered me. It’s small, but comfortable and clean and affordable. They always change my ring for me for free, too! I will continue going to them as long as I live in Boulder.

I have been going to K&K Piercing for YEARS! As a college student, it was our one stop shop for new piercings and jewelry accessories. I’ve sent many friends here and all have had the same incredibly positive experience as I have.
It is family owned and operated and boy, does that show. They are always very friendly and take the time to answer your questions or address your concerns now matter how many people are waiting to be helped, too. I got my cartilage and nose pierced here and was very happy with the way that it looked and healed.
Now, I no longer live in Boulder but when I need new jewelry for my piercings I wait until I make it to Boulder just so I can come here.
Can’t say enough about K&K!

Recently had my nose pierced here and couldn’t be happier! First off, they were quick and PAINLESS. I did not even know he had done it. Also, I was fairly nervous about the whole thing and my piercer was super comforting. Would definitely go again and recommend to others! Professional and experienced!

Got my belly button pierced here, and they did a great job! Price was cheaper than I thought it would be, too. My friend came along and got FIVE piercings, like a champ — nose and four on ears. She even got a discount because she had so many at once (think hers was around $ 200). The staff here is absolutely wonderful, only reason they are missing in a star is because the after care instructions were not very clear and helpful. They gave us sheets to take home, but they were for tongue piercings (which neither of us got). They gave us bactine, but they didn’t tell us how long it is for healing time or to use sea salt washes. Also, my friend got a hoop in her nose which is unusual to do – the place I went to for my nose would only let me do a stud for healing purposes.

This was the worst piercing experience I’ve ever had. I went here to get my nose pierced and the guy did not wear gloves at all or clamps to hold my nose in place to do the actually piercing. The jewelry they use is very cheap and my piercing has been infected the whole healing process. The environment is very unsanitary which is probably why my piercing has been infected for months. DO NOT GO HERE!

I got my nose pieced here 3 months ago. I followed his care instructions to a T (using Bactine twice a day). The piercing would not heal and I developed a bump. I finally went to another piercer to have it looked at, due to frustration. She said that my nose should not be as tender as it was for being 3 months out, and that the jewelry used was very cheap. I told her that I was told to use Bactine, and she said that using something that harsh is NOT good for the piercing (or prolonged healing in general). I noticed her pricing was half of what K&K charges. She swapped out my jewelry for something much nicer and recommended simple sea salt soaks. I would NOT recommend this place…

K&K is the only place I will go to get piercings. The guys there are so nice, helpful, patient, and professional. They have tons of experience and are great at what they do. I do not believe the few negative reviews I have seen as I have always had a wonderful experience. K&K is a little on the more expensive side, but as a very thrifty person I still feel that the experience is worth it because I am getting the very best.
Let me tell you, I am TERRIFIED of needles. The guys at K&K know how to make the process as easy as possible and are always patient when I get light-​headed (which happens every time because I’m a chicken!). They always offer me water and allow me to sit for as long as I need – I am never rushed and they want to assure I am well and happy with my experience. They always encourage me to come back in and get my piercings checked up (for free!) and also change my jewelry for free (when I purchase it there, not sure if I brought other jewelry if they would charge). They always ensure the jewelry they put in is perfectly positioned and the correct size/​length, and they have a great selection!
After 7 piercings at K&K (1 nose and 6 ear) I can confidently recommend them to everyone – go there if you’re looking for the best (even if you’re terrified of needles but crazy enough to keep wanting piercings like me!)

Ugh. Don’t go to K&K. They are very overpriced, unexperienced and lack customer service. I went in to get a simple cartilage piercinge and a jewelry switch on my rook. Not only did the piercer F*** up the cartilage piercing (it was supposed to be centered between two others, but was completely in the wrong place), but, unlike most piercing shops, they actually charged me to switch out the jewelry. Had I known they would charge, I would have gone to Tribal Rights or Freaky’s.
Honestly, I hear they overcharge, because they expect you to haggle on the prices. They’re also biased towards certain customers. (ie. a group of pretty sorority girls will probably get a discount over their most loyal customer).
Save yourself from the overpriced, terrible peircing.

Although I didn’t get pierced here, this is the only place I go to get my nose jewelry. It’s a little pricey, but they have styles that I have had difficulty finding elsewhere, so to me it’s worth it. They are also barter friendly (to a point) which is a plus, you just have to initiate.

Mike pierced my nostril nearly 20 years ago, went in yesterday for piercings in a more intimate area. They were just as friendly and professional as they were 20 years ago. Can’t wait to heal up and go back for some of their great jewelry!

This is hands down the best place for piercings I’ve ever been to. They are so kind, skilled, reasonably priced! They have a great selection of quality jewelry. I can’t say enough good things about them. If you are thinking of getting pierced, this is the place. I just like going in there because they are so nice!!!

Love this place, best place to get pierced anywhere if you ask me. I got my nose pierced here 6 years ago when I lived in Boulder, and when I stopped in last week I was just as impressed with the owners’ helpfulness, variety of jewelry, and overall friendliness and customer service.
I bought two new pieces of jewelry (tragus and new nose ring) for a great price and the quality was stunning (swarovski crystals)! I will definitely be going back on my next trip to Colorado in a few months to get another piercing.
Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable experience and an anxiety-​free piercing. :)

Totally feel I got robbed in terms of pricing. I went in to re-​pierce my nose (3^rd time) and they charged me $ 20 for the titanium nose ring (the silver looking one with a regular ball… nothing fancy) on top of $ 20 for the piercing. My nose didn’t even NEED to be pierced because the scar tissue was okay and they just tapered it. STILL got charged full price. Highway robbery. THEN, I asked about the price for bactene (just to know) he tells me $ 5 and tries to push me into buying it. I told him no thanks because I had some at home, and then the piercer told him (in whatever their native language is) that I didn’t need it because it had just been tapered. He told me this and also added that I just needed to wash it with antibacterial soap and to wash my hands anytime before touching it. My nose feels great and looks great and I’m very happy with the piercing, but the customer service could use some work. If Tribal Tattoos had the titanium nose stud I wanted, I DEFINITELY would have gone there and paid $ 25 all inclusive.

These guys are the best… I’ve gone to other places in town… and these guys are the most knowledgeable and skilled. promise. Thanks, Mike.

BEST PIERCING EXPERIENCE EVER!
So I’ve had a number of body piercings over the last 15 years, by different people in different parts of the country. Mike at K&K was by far the best piercer I have worked with. He was patient with my seemingly endless vacillating about jewelry, didn’t put on the tough guy too cool for school routine so many piercers/​tattooers seem wedded to, and most importantly, he was a super skilled piercer. I’ve always had strong reactions to piercings in the past — puked, passed out, etc. But he did my second nipple piercing (which I put off for years after passing out repeatedly for 2 hrs after my 1^st nipple piercing) and I have seriously had paper cuts that hurt more. Not nauseous, not lightheaded, healing great.
Could not be more happy with the experience: skill, price, vibe, convenience. Done.

This is the best piercing place I’ve ever been. Every time I’ve gotten a piercing (I have 10 total) I’ve always gone to K&K. I was in there today to have my belly buttons re done because it had closed up. Tony was the nicest person, not only did he redo my belly button for an amazing price but he also made sure I had paid the meter and helped me out when the meter wasn’t work. While he was at it he also put new jewelry in all my ear piercing. Mikey and Tony are the nicest and sweetest people I’ve ever met. They even gave me coffee!

Easy parking, walked in. The staff were really helpful, able to answer all my questions and were able to talk me through a «plan» for my nose piercing (I wanted a ring but for work purposes needed a stud and I was concerned about placement and interchangeability).
Quick work, easy banter, good clear cleaning instructions (this wasn’t my first piercing rodeo but this was certainly the best experience).
I’ll be back.

My wife and I went to K & K after a strong recommendation from the gals at the Walnut Café. My wife had her nose pierced and I had my ear pierced (first time!). We walked in without an appointment and they were able to help us both within a half hour. I was impressed that the staff really seems to care about their work and about their customers. Very professional. The work area was clean & the equipment sterilized. The guys made sure we knew how to clean & care for our piercings, and made us feel at ease throughout the process.
I don’t foresee any more piercings in my future, but if I do decide to get another, I will definitely have it done at K & K. Highly recommended.
