We specialize in Board Games, Card Games, Roleplaying Games, and Miniatures. Some examples include Catan, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and Warmachine. Not only does this mean selling these games, but also having a place for people to try out or play their games. We focus on building good communities and having a place for people to gather and share their passions.

History

Established in 2004.

Karliquin’s Game Knight started with Karl Schwols after he left Hobby Town. He decided to build his own game store in Boulder as a need was wanted and so it was started. Little over a decade later, Jackson Wood took over for Karl so that he could retire and take care of his family as Jackson moved to pursue bigger dreams with the game store.

Business Owner

Jackson is a young, community minded individual whom took over for Karl on January 1^st, 2015. He led a very interesting life moving around the globe beforehand. He settled into working for Karl in around 2010 after returning from a trip in Japan. Karl was the only one to actually give Jackson a chance and soon after Jackson fell in love with the entire industry. Now, Jackson strives for a focus on community where people have a space to not only purchase games, but play them and meet with others who share the same interests and hobbies.
