Specialties
Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen– Dazs specializes in ice– cream, sandwiches, homemade soup, coffee and customer service! Haagen– Dazs is the best ice-cream in the word with all natural ingredients, no additives, no preservatives, and no artificial flavors and or colors. The sandwiches are made with love with all fresh ingredients, locally bread bread, and Boar’s Head meat. We also happily use Udi’s GLUTEN FREE bread to make our sandwiches if asked. The homemade soup first began with Lindsay’s mom who gave us our first 5 recipes. We then took it to the next level and have created as many as 30 soups! We rotate at least 5 a day from September through April. Allegro coffee is a locally brewed coffee that is absolutely fantastic. Lastly, Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen– Dazs is locally owned and operated with love by both its owners and employees.
History
Established in 2004.
I bought the deli and ice– cream business in 2004 and asked my brother, Aaron, to come and help me create a successful venture. We renamed the shop, Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen– Dazs in order for it to sound «local.» (He did not want to be partners at that point, so that is why it is only «Lindsay’s, lol.) Our mom went to Courdon Bleu in Paris, France, and she helped us revamp the entire menu using the best ingredients. My dad and mom have owed tons of Haagen– Dazs franchises. They taught us everything they knew and set us free. It’s been almost 7 years. i’m now doing it solo with very good wishes from my brother. Bring it on, baby!
Meet the Business Owner
Lindsay S.
Business Owner
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a psychology degree in 2000. I was a middle and high school teacher whose parents had owned Haagen– Dazs shops my entire life. I bought the Haagen– Dazs on Pearl Street Mall in 2004 and revamped the whole shop and named it Lindsay’s Boulder Deli at Haagen– Dazs.
I have lived in Boulder since 1996. I am such a typical Boulderite. I love to hike, bike, yoga, eat at great restaurants. I am one of those people that thinks that I live in the best place in the world! I love the mountains and the general attitude of Boulder.
I love to travel. I honestly work really hard so I can travel. I like to go out of the country at least once a year.
My favorite items on my menu are the T.B.A (turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich) and either a cookies and cream milkshake or a chocolate malt with vanilla ice– cream! Love.
