Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I started Mountain Tree Care with my brother in 2003. Together, on a shoe string budget, we built a solid company from the ground up. In 2011 we decided it was time to end our partnership. My next company was North Metro Stump Grinding. I worked as an independant contractor for various tree services; in spite of the name, my focus remained on all phases of tree work. During the next three years, I worked with many of Boulder’s top arborists, pruning, removing trees, and of course grinding stumps. This gave me the oportunity to learn many different methods, techniques, and philosophies, and improve my knowledge and skills. In 2012 North Metro Stump Grinding started becoming Mapleton Tree Company. By early 2014 the transformation was complete, and now I work almost exclusively for home owners in the Boulder area.
