History
Established in 1996.
Village Custom Framing & Art was established in 1996. During our first 17 years our storefronts were located in the Village Shopping Center. Our emphasis has always been on providing custom framing that preserves as well as enhances the art, photo or object being framed. Bonnie is a PPFA certified picture framer. Being certified is integral to having the knowledge to employ the latest techniques, materials and designs. We carry limited edition prints, antique prints, and open edtiion prints. Many of these can be viewed on our website. In June of 2015 we relocated to our Sugarloaf studio. The home and office design appointments offered give clients a much clearer picture of what their finished project will look like and how it will fit into their décor. After the design is decided upon the construction of the frame and the fitting are completed in the studio workshop. The finished project is then delivered to their home or office.

Bonnie is a PPFA Certified Picture Framer
Village Custom Framing & Art was opened in 1996 by Bonnie Bitter, cpf. She continues to enhance and keep her framing skills current by attending seminars and classes. Every four years she also attends a series of classes to retain her PPFA certification.
One of her favorite framing projects is hand gilding of frames in 23K gold and adding touches such as sgraffito corners. She also enjoys designing one of a kind mats for clients with intricate decorative touches such as debossed lettering, cut art and specialty openings.
