The sales man was nice but them main people are not they are rude and disrespectful, I don’t recommend buying here. I’ve purchased plenty of cars in my life and this was the worst experience for me

I called to schedule a routine oil change and talked to a gentleman named John. He answered all of my questions and explained the warranty process thoroughly, leaving me feeling good about the upcoming appointment.
On Saturday at 10am sharp, I brought my car in and was greeted promptly by Dave. He took the keys and said he’d have everything ready by noon. Sure enough, I received a call at 11:30am saying my car was ready. Looking fresh and clean with a complimentary wash, I was given my car back and went on about my way.
John, Dave, and the women at the front desk all were very helpful and kind during my first visit to McCaddon. Do yourself and your GMC vehicle a favor, and make McCaddon your one stop shop for all service needs!

I went home talking about how much I like oil changes! They did a great job at getting my car in right away, making sure I was comfortable and set with coffee, and even returned it washed! Great service! They even showed me how to check my oil and talked about general maintenance. It was quick and educational.

I researched mid-​size trucks for months, so I came into the dealership well prepared, especially in comparison to the Toyota Tacoma and Chevy Colorado. My wife and I were instantly and warmly welcomed by Becky Edmiston, who listened to us, and helped direct us to the truck that met our needs. Although going into McCaddon to check out the GMC Canyon seemed almost perfunctory since I really liked the Tacoma, within 30 minutes we were completed convinced GMC was for us, and a good amount of the credit goes to the experience we received as clients. We test drove 2 trucks, and Becky was nice enough to spend as much time as we needed to have our questions fully answered. She had another appointment after us, but professionally let us know well in advance so we could be respectful of each others’ time. We came back the next day and met with Wendell, who could not have been a nicer guy and great complement to Becky. He was quite knowledgeable, and no sales pressure whatsoever. Continuing with the experience Becky started, we felt instantly welcomed and respected as customers. Agreeing upon the purchase price was easy and no hassle, and financing went without any surprises. Justin, the financial services director, is as meticulous as I am about getting things right, and we joked that we might have been separated at birth. I have previously reviewed this dealership’s parts and service department. This is a review of the sales process.
I began car shopping online because I wanted to explore the value of my vehicle. I used
which give a trade-​in estimate and then shares your contact information with dealerships to get into the specifics. I’ve been to this rodeo before so I knew enough to use my «alternate» email address rather than my regular one so I wouldn’t get a zillion solicitations on my iPhone. That allowed me to be in charge of the timeline of my car search rather than the dealerships pinging me when they wanted to talk. I was contacted by McCaddon Cadillac’s business development representative, Amelia Metzger, who wanted to know how they could help. I went online to get my initial trade-​in estimate (which was a fair price) but I wasn’t really in a place to buy right then. I wanted to do more research before I visited a dealership. Ameilia contacted me via phone and email at just the right pace to stay in contact, without being a pain. It’s a real art to nurture sales leads without overwhelming them and she had just the right balance. When I was ready to move ahead, she put me in touch with car salesman Jeff Katz. He was also just the right amount of helpful without being salesy. He returned calls promptly and invited me to come in on the Saturday I called. I’d already spent several hours on their website looking at the used vehicles that were a year or less old. I also searched Craigslist because I knew a lot of dealers put their best prices on CL. So, I visited the dealership and after a quick chat, Jeff got a couple sets of keys to show me some options. I was driving a 2011 Cadillac Escalade but I am moving into a new house that has a garage that’s too short for that vehicle so the first car I test drove was a Cadillac XTS AWD sedan. I have driven SUVs for several years and I thought the AWD was a good compromise. I chose this vehicle because I could get a luxury car with winter practicality. Jeff presented lease vs. buy options in an informative manner and it was a pleasure to spend several hours with him. He’s got a good sense of humor and has had an interesting life so it was fun chatting with him. He offered food and drinks while the paperwork was being done, which was nice. The negotiation was fair and not the typical acrimonious back-​and-​forth. It was a Saturday so there was a little bit of a backup to get into to finalize paperwork with the Finance Services Manager so my tip to others would be to try to visit on a weekday if possible. That said, Justin Gasman, was organized, efficient, and upbeat and he was a pleasure to work with as well. Each step of the way, I was handed off to another competent and professional team members. After the deal was done, Jeff helped me get oriented to the new car, pair my cell phone, and register for On-​star. He went above and beyond and it was a pleasure doing business with him and his colleagues. I work for a company that does B2B sales and I know it takes a blend of marketing, sales, and service to get a sale across the finish line. McCaddon is investing in the right mix of people and online marketing that matches the way people shop these days. I would recommend them without reservation.

We had a wonderful experience with the great people at McCaddon. Becky and Justin were honest and pleasant during the whole process. We got more than we expected for our trade in and they worked the numbers to keep us right were we wanted to be. Thanks for a great car buying experience. See you next time!

John Berry made appointment after checking VIN#. My class of cargo van reportedly needs a bye pass from faulty GM ignition VAT and Passkey system. John shared that there was a GM recall on software. I raced between appointments to see whether the unpredictable start issue which afflicts millions of GM cars (judging from frustrated owners on various forums) may get fixed. Most popular fix is to bye pass the GM circuitry using non-​GM parts. Surely GM would have a fix for a widely experienced problem. I thought.
Another service advisor, Randy advised that the SW fix is for Buicks, not my GM cargo van. John was wrong, he said. No apology, no recognition of my lost time. Then he advised what my costs would be to diagnose the issue. Further, he shared that this was a known problem and would only get worse.
What he could have done better at minimum:
Apologized and owned the error for wasting my time. Shared what they know about the problem and the possible fixes and range of costs. I would have decided whether I wanted the fix.
What would have made me buy a new car from them?
Respect my time, own their error. I took time for the appointment, which they made in error and set wrong expectations. The only option they gave even to diagnose was for fee. They already have a lot of intelligence on this problem.
This kind of arrogance is why I don’t go to this shop that is 10 minutes away from me, and I purchased my last truck and gave a fat profit to a dealer in Denver. Doesn’t look like they will earn my business in the coming round of new purchases either.
The shop was not rude, just that it does not have the culture of stellar customer service.

The vehicle in question was advertised as Certified, not your run of the mill used vehicle. As such, Certified vehicles are supposed to have, at worst, minor blemishes. This vehicle had multiple holes in the leather, and door panel. Hardly minor wear and tear blemishes.
No other manufacturer with CPOs is putting a Certified label on a product that needs possibly a thousand or more dollars of repair.
UPDATE: In response to the claim of ‘minor issues’, the car had some major issues. The driver’s side seat cover needed to be replaced due to the two large holes in the leather. The driver’s side door panel needed to be replaced due to the hole in said panel. If those were indeed ‘minor issues’, why not make the car right and fix the damage?

Chris Cook consistently provides SUPERIOR service. We have a choice of mechanics — as you know — and we choose McCaddon’s because of our relationship with Chris. I am the owner of a business who’s revenue depends on all vans being on the road. Chris has, on more than one occasion, provided emergency service to expedite the repairs. Chris is honest and professional, representing McCaddon’s exceptionally well.

Wow! Just had such a pleasant experience with the service department, Jeff Clark in particular. They were booked but squeezed me in for an oil change and complimentary car wash. So easy and so affordable. I will be back for sure. I highly recommend this service department.

My visit started with Roger and the greatest, (fun) test drive ever. The entire place was comfortable and fun. I was treated with respect and got the deal I needed and wanted. Special thanks to Justin for making my loan work. I will recommend these guys to EVERYONE. I had a blast.

I’ve been buying or leasing cars from McCaddon for 20 years. Always professional, honest, and friendly. They make everything effortless. The owner Mark McCaddon is always available to answer any questions and help out if needed. I’ve always used Wendell Borchert who is by far the best in sales.

Jeff Engle was a delight to work with! He was efficient and a straight shooter. No nonsense and no pressure. He quickly put me in the car I wanted (just waiting on my hat Jeff!) I am happy with my new Cadillac! I actually look forward to visiting McCaddon again and will recommend to friends and family.
Finance was a little bumpy as Stephen seemed a little flustered and needed help from others but still I left a happy customer.

I always trust that my car will be expertly serviced and maintained. I drive a lot for my job as a self-​employed horse trainer and riding instructor and a reliable vehicle is a must. An extra big thank you to Jon Berry for always keeping me on track about what my car needs, while also working within my budget.

I bought a used car (listed on
by Zach) from McCaddon in November 2012. It was a rainy, cold day. I called ahead to see if the car was still available. Chad C said that it was — and I arranged to meet him. He warmed up the car before I arrived.
I’m reluctant when I go to car dealerships because of the reputation car salespeople have for being high pressure. This was *not* a problem. In my opinion, McCaddon is confident in their product, they highlight stats/​features, answer questions and let the product do the rest of the work.
The staff was professional. Chad was cool. He was friendly and very helpful. I have no complaints. Mr McCaddon, Chad and the service department followed up with me in the weeks following the transaction.
The thought crossed my mind several times after I bought the car, «I’d forgotten. This is the way great people do business.» So, I wanted to let you all know that these people are definitely worth your time if you are in the market for a car.

I leased a 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0 Performance model. The sales consultant, Zach Brick, was very knowledgeable about the car and took the time to go carefully through the car’s many features, including an in-​depth tutorial on the CUE entertainment system. The finance manager, Jim Walton, was also very helpful. In addition, they dealt honestly and reasonably with a financial issue about the lease that arose. Altogether a positive experience worthy of the Cadillac name.

I have not utilized the service department so I don’t know if they are any good. This review is just of my experience with buying a car.
I recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and had a great experience. They didn’t pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. The salesman answered my questions and was very patient about making my decision. I was deciding between two cars at different dealerships and it took over a week before I made my decision.
I finally went with the vehicle McCaddon was selling and feel I made the right choice. I love my new (to me) car and couldn’t be happier with the price and ease of purchase.
If you are in the market for a new or used car, I highly recommend taking a look at this dealership. The salesman know what they are talking about, they have a good selection at a fair price and don’t put any pressure on you to buy.
