My tires had low pressure and I also had some tire damage. The guys checked out my tires, assured me that they were quite safe to drive on, and didn’t need replacement. They filled my tires up with air for free. Really nice of them!

This shop is awesome. My husband I have been taking our very old cars there for several years now and they have never failed to take great care of us. It is evident that the business is run with ethics and honesty. No unnecessary repairs are ever suggested. My 4Runner has 240K+ miles on it and they help me invest the money I need to keep her going without throwing good money after an old car. They are friendly, capable and extremely honest. I highly recommend this shop! You will not regret it!

Great job here. I brought my car here after shopping for new brakes and rotors somewhere else. Goodyear told me I only needed about half the work as the other place and they found coupons and discounts for me which saved me additional $ 125. I came back here after I thought they did a solid job on my tires. Goodyear on Table Mesa is 2 for 2 now.

It had been at least 2.5 years since I last had my car’s drive train and alignment checked. I don’t drive a lot, but I do share the car with my daughter when she flies home from college, and she drives around way more in a week than I do in a month. Our driving styles are very different too, so I thought it prudent to get it checked out, after she left. I wasn’t noticing anything wrong, pre se, but for piece of mind I thought I should do it.
Why do you need to do this routinely?
We know cars need regular maintenance and inspections, but since I drive only about 8K a year, my car doesn’t actually get seen by my regular mechanic very often. Having the drive train and brakes inspected should be done at least annually. It’s one of those things that can save you a lot of problems down the road, helps prevent uneven wear on the tires, and it’s a safety thing too.
The main reason I wanted the alignment and drive train checked is due to the road conditions in my area. For some reason, though I live in the city limits, Boulder isn’t responsible for doing road repairs in my neighborhood. Huh, you say? Seems the blasted Home Owners Association is responsible for them, and they’ve been negligent on road repairs for years here. I suppose I need to bring that up at the next meeting, whenever that is. Oops, I think I just missed it.
Okay, so back to this auto shop’s review.
I called my mechanic who said they were swamped for the next week, and to be honest they don’t do wheel alignments anyway. They recommended another shop, but I decided to check Unilocal first for a review of that shop. I found out it wasn’t that close to me. So, I went searching on Unilocal and found a few good recommendations. I also found, with a Google search, that the Goodyear shops, of which Roadmasters is part of, are running a special in Feb. for alignments. I also had coupons, from mailers, about other shops doing alignment checks and adjustments, but none of them are that close to me either.
So, I called around and got pricing at the shops I was considering, and called Roadmasters to see if they were honoring the Goodyear coupon, and I was told they were. With the coupon, Roadmasters was the same price as some of the other shops, or a better deal. So, I called Roadmasters back to make an appointment. They said they could take my car that very morning! What luck, and to boot, I knew Caffe Sole was right across the parking lot. Great coffee or tea, breakfast, and free WiFi, all while I waited for my car. YES!!! I booked in for an hour later.
When I arrived, I asked Roadmasters if they would also check the wear on the brake pads too. I was told yes, if it didn’t mean taking the tires off, they’d do it for free, otherwise there was a charge for it. I said they can look in through the wheel hubs, but I don’t own the tool to measure them myself.
About and hour later, they were done. No alignment was needed (great!), and therefore my coupon was applied to the service check. $ 10 off the normal price. Actually, the price was about $ 20 less than I expected. I will absolutely be back and recommending them.
I would have given them 5 stars except they neglected to put on my car’s report the amount of brake pad left on each wheel. I had to call and ask when I got home. I talked to the guy who actually did the inspection. He told me I had plenty of wear left on the pads and he was sorry he hadn’t written it down. He was more than willing to look at them again that very day, for free, and note the numbers, if I needed it, but he said if I had needed new pads now or even soon, he definitely would have noted it and I would’ve been told. They don’t try to sell customers anything they don’t need. They have a very good following and a very good reputation, and of course, they want to keep it that way so they get repeat business. Now that’s honesty for you.

These guys fixed my flat in about 10 minutes. Fast friendly service. Came recommended. Would recommend.

I’ve been taking my cars to these guys for a few years now and am glad they’re in the neighborhood. In my 25 years of driving, it’s the first place I’ve taken my car that I’ve never questioned what they were telling me. Great honest service.
