History

Established in 1994.

Wolchek Academy was founded in 1994 originally as Karate America by World Champion Tim Wolchek. We continue that tradition of creating champions and leaders and have since progressed our training and now offer classes taught by experienced, champion instructors in not only Karate, but Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Doce Pares Eskrima, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Hawaiian Kenpo, Kung Fu, and Tai Chi to form a well rounded curriculum.

Mr. Tim Wolchek founded Wolchek Academy of Martial Arts in 1994. He has been studying martial arts for almost 30 years, and teaching Men, Women, and Children for nearly as long. His competition career and accolades are almost to numerous to mention. A 4 time World Champion in Full Contact Stick Fighting, Multi time National Champion in Karate Fighting and Forms, and State Champion in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, this former Collegiate Gymnast knows what it takes to be the best! Mr. Wolchek has his 5^th Degree Black Belt in Karate, his 4^th Degree Black Belt in Doce Pares Eskrima under SGM Diony Canete, his Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Dirty Dozen Member Bob Bass, his Brown Belt in Okinawan Kubodo under Tadishi Yamashida, as well as being a USA Boxing Certified Coach.
