VIP Express Moving

A year later the still have never compensated us for our broken furnitures, when my husband sent emails and several attempts to contacts the finally answered stating our broken furniture is worth less than $ 500 our deductible, …am sorry a Jennifer Convertible? Worst moving company, beware!

I booked VIP for a cross country move NY to CA approximately 3 months in advance. As the move date approached I called them to confirm that i’d be seeing them at the agreed upon move time, 9am — 10am, that following week. No one answered, and there was no voice messaging service. I also sent them an email. Two days before the pick-​up, I started calling them multiple times w/​out reply, and emailing without responses. By 9am on my pick up day, i had received no confirmation, and still, no one was answering the phone number provided, or returning my email. I waited until 11am, and decided to organize another moving company last minute. Obviously, i was not going to get a cross country moving company on short notice, so i hired a local movers and a storage unit. At 12:30pm, my new movers had just arrived, and guess who calls? VIP, and they tell me they are on the way. I informed them that I was forced to hire another mover since they neither confirmed the move, or informd me by 10:30am that they would be late. I asked the mover who called me from VIP to tell his manager/​boss to contact me since he wouldn’t answer the telephone, or return emails. I stated that I would be requesting a full refund of my deposit. I am still waiting to hear from that man 6 months later! I have filed a complaint with BBB. This move was for my company, so even my company lawyers have attempted to contact VIP, and receive reimbursement, but have received no response.
This was a cross country move. The stress their lack of professionalism caused me was so great that it was only thanks to some dear friends and family, i ever got out of my NY apartment that day.
I ended up losing my deposit, and incurring the cost of a local movers and 2 months in a Brooklyn storage facility. I moved to CA without any of my belongings, a significantly depleted savings, and still had yet to find a long distance mover.
I called the NJ DOT in the week leading up to my move to confirm they were still in business, since i had not received any responses to my calls, and emails. They confirmed that yes, this moving service was in business, but only has one registered truck. This leads me to believe that any issue with one move, would greatly affect the pick up time with they next. Also, there is obviously no secretary or admin taking calls when these guys are out on the job.
I have waited 6 months to write this review to be very certain of my feelings and treatment. I got screwed, and it is likely you will too.

Horrible customer service, lady had the worst attitude ever.
Asked her a few questions and she made it seem like she was the customer.
I would not give these people any of my business.

DO NOT USE this company. We used them to move six months ago. Not only did we have to call the police to force them to take our stuff off the truck but they charged us $ 600 more for the move, lost several items totally about $ 1200 and broke several pieces of furniture totally $ 4000!!! They put holes in the walls of a brand new home and scratched up the wood floors and molding. We were never offered an option for additional insurance so when we filed a claim they ignored us for 6 months. We repeatedly sent in the pictures and letters and claim forms and always received a different answer on when we would get a response. We finally contacted Consumer Affairs and filed a complaint with the BBB. Do not use them unless you want the same problems. Victoria is a nasty, unprofessional person. I run a large organization with over 1000 employees and I would never hire her to interact with customers. Not only does she not know how to address clients, she is rude, argumentative and cannot get her story straight when it comes to giving truthful information.

VIP Express is an unorganized, blackmailing, inadequate moving company. They took 4 weeks to call me back to just give me paperwork. Then they saw my review on Unilocal & a representative contacted me and would not give me the paperwork unless the review was deleted or improved. This place needs serious organizational and customer service training. This place deserves 0 stars. The only positive were the packing & moving personnel. They were efficient & very nice.

I give them an okay because of there crew Alex & Phil did a fantastic job they were very professional and did a great job and they sincierly apologized for the delay if i recommend VIP Express moving it would be for them you guys are great keep up the good work.

DO NOT MOVE WITH THEM if you:
(1) do not have flexibility in your budget and/​or
(2) do not have time to deal with them afterwards.
The company is disorganized that the sales department doesn’t even have the final paperwork. After almost a month, they called me to send in the paperwork only to incriminate me for not providing accurate estimate in their response to the Best Business Bureau! The initial estimate lists one bed, and anyone would think one bed includes more than one piece. That’s NO JUSTIFICATION for charging 70% MORE than the estimate. You would think as moving professionals they would know that, and you wonder how their computer software does the estimates. Even their movers said the people in the office have no idea what they’re doing.
I can only conclude that the business is dishonest, and I feel bad for people working in this company. I do not want to get personal and list your names here.
If I cannot stop the practice, I can at least WARN OTHERS.

I scheduled a moving date in late May and was told I had a moving window from 2pm to 6pm. My wife was waiting and waiting with our infant till 5:45pm before I called VIP to followup. That is when they told me that they are running late– will come closer to 8pm. I did not receive a call from them that they were running late but found out from calling them. We waited and waited and then called at 8pm– only to find they will come between 8 and 9 now. Called at 9– only to find they will come at 10pm. Half the workers came at 10:20 but the truck was not there till midnight! By the time they were done with the move it was around 3am! I received multiple noise complaints from my neighbors since it was so late. I called management later on to find that they were running late from «being pulled over by police.» I can understand that can take an hour or two MAX but not 6+ hrs. Obviously this is due to booking too many jobs in one day– I know this because they mentioned they had other jobs that day. Management continues to tell me that if I read the fine print that they cannot guarantee any time for a move. That’s fine, I understand that things happen but you should not give your customers a time range and then book too many jobs than you can handle. What’s the point in having a time range then? Also, it’s good business to let your customers know of any updates if you are running late but that didn’t happen with them. Also, I included pictures of the damages to my belongings when I finally received everything. Did I give enough reasons not to move with this company?

We just moved with VIP moving three days ago. Good price, and excellent move… that’s what we got! I’ve hired movers before… so I can tell for sure this guys deserve 5 stars! I will definitely use them again. and I’ll recommend them to my friends.

Made a last minute appt with VIP Express on Saturday for a Sunday move. Moved from Absecon, NJ to Brooklyn, NY — 2bedroom apt to 3 bd private house. It was a rainy day and they covered every piece in plastic wrap and blankets. They didn’t mind bringing all our staff to the basement, upstairs, etc. and No complaints, no sighs. At the new place they unwrapped all the furniture and put the bed back together. Their pricing is very reasonable, I paid the same amount that I was quoted. I was impressed with the great customer service during the estimate and the whole move. Very professional and fast. Nothing was lost during the move. They made the move experience great! I highly recommend them to everyone!

The guys at The guys at VIP express did a fantastic job moving my furniture from my 3 bedroom house to a storage. True professionals, upfront, honest pricing. I’d never used movers before and was a bit worried about it. But the whole move was really stress-​free.

They were punctual, and worked fast
All fee were discussed upfront before the move, and no hidden cost.
They took excellent care of my stuff.
The price was very reasonable.
You’re paying by the hour, but they’re working as quickly as they can.
I don’t have one complaint and will refer all my friends to this company! Just go with them, you won’t regret it.
