PeeWee’s Playdates

Kelsey helped us care for our 4 dogs in 2014. I contacted her again because we are going away a few weeks. It is to our disappointment that she moved out of our area and can no longer help us. But what surprised us was that she even remembered we had a 25 dollar credit with her and offered to pay us back. Not only she took time to refer a dog walker in our area but also researched our alternatives. This is an individual with integrity and professionalism. No wonder she has 5 star in Unilocal review.

Kelsey and her team is always there to take care of my baby whenever we need her. We have been rely on this great team on all of our vacations since 2014. They are the most reliable person I would leave my baby with. Highly recommended, you will never be disappointed. Thank you Kelsey and Alex!

We are still using Pee Wee’s for our dog and now for our cat and are so happy. They always leave us detailed notes about their visit and we feel safe and comfortable leaving our pets in their care. It’s such a relief knowing you can go away for a few days and leave your fur babies with helpful caretakers. Thank you!

We are pretty new to Anaheim and when we needed a pet sitter after a friend wasn’t able to look after our fur babies, we got in to Pee Wee’s Playdates.
Just meeting Kelsey at our consultation, I knew I had made the right choice. Not going to lie — I stalked her webpage, Facebook, and Unilocal reviews. I was very impressed before we even met. The consultation was a breeze partly because my cats are pretty chill but also because Kelsey was able to meet with us on short notice. Her attention to detail and genuine love of animals really put me at ease with our trip being over 1400 miles away. Very professional, very nice, and asked me all the questions — some, I didn’t even think about!
Felicia was the lucky gal who took care of our babies. She rocks! She sent me text updates along with pictures and really cared for our animals as if they were her own. Even though one cat was shy and didn’t come out as much, she really put in an effort and I think she has made two new cat buddies for life. Plus, she left the light on for us so when we got home, we weren’t fumbling around in the dark. She is very professional and I can’t wait to have her sit for us again!
Don’t even think twice about using Kelsey and her amazing team! They will put you (and your pets) at ease! We will definitely be booking them again!
The Sutliffs + Burt and Phineas

Kelsey, the owner of PeeWee’s playdates and Felicia (the chihuahua whisperer) are one of the best people you could ask for to care for your furry children. As a veterinary student I am away for most of the day and can 100% rely of PeeWee’s playdates to take care of my two Chihuahuas and German Shepherd. One of my Chihuahuas is very old and ‘set in her ways’ and I was very nervous that I would not be able to find someone who specializes in small dogs (because lets face it, Chihuahuas aren’t the most welcoming of animals!). I met with Kelsey at my house and she made me feel so comfortable once I saw the genuine love and patience she has for animals. Both her and Felicia are true animal lovers who really care about the comfort of your pet and making sure they are happy and comfortable, even if that means staying a little longer than the scheduled time. During the daytime visits they leave little notes updating me on what the dogs did, and it’s so nice to read because the notes completely reflect the personality of the dogs. If you are looking for a pet sitting company that you can completely rely on and feel comfortable while away on either vacation or just during the day, use PeeWee’s playdates! I consider my dogs as my children and I 100% trust them in the hands of Kelsey and Felicia and I promise you will too!

Kelsey and her crew has been watching our pets (dog, cat, fish and plants) for over 3 years. I can’t say enough about what a great job she’s done. Very attentive to details. She takes the mail and newspaper in, waters the plants and pays special attention to the pets.
One time earlier this year, when I forgot to leave the key for her, I called from the airport and we worked out a plan where she took a ladder out of the garage and climbed into a second floor window to get into the house and retrieve the key!
Talk about going the extra mile. Very professional and no worries when out of town.

PeeWee’s Playdates are the best! Kelsey and her team help me out when I have to travel at the last minute. I trust my fur babies in their hands any day! They are very reliable, dependable and give my pets as much love as I do. While I was out of town, my dog itched herself an ugly hot spot. Kelsey was quick to get a hold of me and ask me how I wanted to deal with this spot. She helped me take care of the spot immediately and was my hands and eyes, when I couldn’t be there, sending me updates on how my pup was doing. They were even able to get my cay to play with a ball, which I have never been able to. I always love the note I receive letting me know how my pets did while I was away. The team are true animal people and I highly recommend them to everyone!

We love pee wees. They walk the pups & leave great notes. If we go out of town they update us with texts and photos. Our dogs think Kelsey and Carissa are their cool Aunties!

When I moved into a new apartment a few years ago, my cat was a big part of the process. The staff at the complex helped me find a wonderful unit that gets some birds to watch outside the windows; even better, though, has been their recommendation to use PeeWee’s pet setting service when I’m traveling. Kelsey & her team have been my go-​to for travel, and they’ve been able to accommodate even my last-​minute work trips. After each stint I get a lovely little note with updates from my absence; this has been even more valuable since my cat has started getting a daily medication. I’ve even gotten e-​mails from them during my travels when packages get delivered to my apartment. As much as I love being at home with my cat, I feel good when I’m traveling knowing Kelsey & her crew are checking in for me.

Highly recommended! Kelsey and her team at PeeWee’s Playdates took great care of our older dog when we were gone. They sent emailed confirmations prior to pet sitting and axtually sent text message pictures when we were gone.
Our dog was very timid and shy but PeeWees always sat with, and made him feel comfortable and would play if he felt like it. They even cleaned up the flooring whether he had «an issue» or not. Upon our return there was always a heartfelt, well put together note of what happened and how our boy did. Just great and sweet people.

I don’t have the easiest, nor friendliest of dogs. One of them in particular hates strangers and is pretty high maintenance. So needless to say, I was a bit worried about finding a dog sitting service. My worrying quickly faded when I saw how much my two pups warmed up to both Felicia and Kelsey. During trips she sends a bunch of pics or videos of everyone playing and they just seem so happy. It really takes the guilt out of those occasional trips where we can’t take the dogs. During the week when I’m at work either Felicia or Kelsey come by for 20 minutes for potty breaks and play time. Felicia leaves really cute notes that I love reading, tops off their water and cleans up their potty. I really don’t know what I would do without them.

I reached out to Kelsey when our previous dog sitter moved out of the area. Let me just say… She is amazing! We have two miniature dachshunds and they love her! She is so quick to respond with arrangements and confirmations. On the days she visits, she leaves very detailed notes about how the visits went, including how long their walks were, if they ate or played, and/​or anything else she would think I would want to be aware of. She always leaves them with refilled water and food, and gives them love and treats, too! On the days when Kelsey visits, I come home from work to two very happy (and tired!) pups. I have complete confidence in Kelsey as a pet sitter, she is always very professional, she is an honest and forthright communicator, and has become part of the family. I highly recommend Kelsey and her staff if you need a dependable, friendly, and amazing pet sitting services!

Best dog walker/​sitter ever!
I’ve been using Peewee’s Playdates for about six months, and Kelsey and her team take excellent care of my dog every day, leaving me thorough notes of what they did. They also do little things that I haven’t asked of them, but are much appreciated, like topping off my dog’s water and bringing notices inside. The best part is my dog LOVES them! They play with him and love on him as much as I do.
When I went out of town for a weekend, I was concerned about moving the dog, cat, and rabbit to board at the vet. It was so much easier to ask Kelsey and her team to stay over each night. They left my apartment better than I had. Everything was clean and tidy, and all of the animals were happy and pretty unconcerned that I had been gone. They even texted me pictures of the animals so I knew they were all right.
I’ve never been able to find a better dog walker or pet sitter anywhere, and I’m so glad that I found this team of great, animal-​loving people to take care of my fur-​babies!

I’m a little… overly attached to my dogs. They’re quirky bastards that make me nuts, but I love them so much that there’s occasional sharing of cereal spoons. For years, I didn’t trust anyone to watch them while I’m away– so I never took vacations. Then we met Kelsey and Carissa. Kelsey is fabulous to work with in terms of scheduling, keeping good contact, and staying up to date. The real gem is Carissa. She’s so great to our puppies– and to us. She gives us regular updates while she stays overnight with our fuzzy babies, and we always come home to dogs that are happy and well taken care of.
If you’re looking for someone to trust with your pups, I highly recommend Kelsey and Carissa.

We have been clients of Kelsey for over a year now both for overnight vacation stays and daily lunchtime walk visits. Her service is amazing. She is always attentive, quick to respond, understanding of our pets’ individual personalities, and incredibly warm and loving to them.
Our chihuahua is not a people loving dog. Kelsey and her staff (Estelle and now Felicia) took the time to patiently acclimate him to new people in his space and he absolutely adores them all.
We feel more secure with having someone visit daily and definitely staying overnight while we are out of town. We’ve never had any issue with keys, privacy, or worrying about the fur babies.
Felicia or Kelsey stop by everyday to give our older fur babies a potty break, food time, and midday loves. We get a quick note to let us know how things went. It makes our evenings so much better.

We love PeeWee Playdates. We have used their service for nearly 2 years more so when we got our senior girl who needed more stable walks throughout the day when my husband and I are at work. We have 2 Shiba Inus and they are just our whole world and crazy as can be. So we are nuts about them and their safety and barely trust them with anyone but ourselves. However, we just felt good about meeting with PeeWee (Kelsey) and she gained our trust quickly. They always left a note. They were always available for communication and left detailed messages of what they did.
Eventually, our girl was able to get on our routine and we don’t have to use PeeWee anymore but we DID use them for our wedding in October when we needed someone reliable and trustworthy to stay with our dogs while we and visiting family were in and out of the house most the morning. We just trust their work and their love for animals so much.
So, overall, if you’re crazy obsessed with your pets like we are and just don’t feel right about leaving them with just anyone-​trust that PeeWee Playdates will take good care of your fur babies!

Rusty loves his daily lunch dates with Carissa and Zach! They leave detailed notes everyday and let us know how the walk went. Carissa always let’s us know if Rusty has a rash or allergies (bad skin) or any other behavior that is out of the norm. Kelsey is great and super flexible if we need to cancel unexpectedly. Prices are great.
Rusty is happy! We are happy!

My family has a very quirky greyhound. (I am not sure if quirky is the best word, I could say «neurotic» or «needy»…) We also have two cats who let us live in their house.
I have been using PeeWee’s Playdates for more than a year to help take care of my animals when I am not at home. All of my animals are rescues and I am very particular about how they are taken care of. Our dog has a schedule for when and where he is walked and when he is fed because it makes him feel more secure. Since he has a very sensitive stomach, I often need to adjust what he is fed, so that he doesn’t keep me up all night wanting to go outside.
Kelsey and her staff are meticulous about following my instructions and reporting back to me about how my animals behaved on the visit. What is even more important though is the fact that my animals are happy when they have been visited by Kelsey, Carissa, and other members of her staff. I know that when PeeWee’s Playdates comes for a visit, my animals will be calm and happy when I get home. I have peace of mind knowing that they will be taken care of by people who truly care about them.
I also appreciate the fact that Kelsey has been so great at accommodating last minute requests for help. I have used other services and they just don’t compare to the professional and truly caring people at PeeWee’s Playdates.
