Sabrena has been an angel to us. She manages the property that we have been renting for over 2 years, and I hope we maintain a professional relationship for many years to come. She is honest, helpful and always available to us when we need something. She has been an expert liaison between us and the property owners, also local Brentwood residents. She had our back when a neighbor brought forth untruthful allegations against us and the entire company handled the situation with restraint and tact. I assure you the complaining party did not.

Need a mountain moved? Run, don’t walk, to work with John Kenney of JDK & Associates Realty, Inc. After over a year of debating whether we should short sale our beautiful home, we called John and met with him at a local café to talk about our options. He is not only a very likeable guy, but he was also knowledgeable; experienced, empathetic; and without revealing client information, he shared relevant, relatable anecdotes; he gave us options we never considered, including finding us a rental home to coordinate timing with our anticipated move out date. We were so relieved to have talked with him and trusted him completely! We were IN! That very afternoon, he showed us a beautiful home close by for rent that was being vacated by the owner in two weeks (which we locked into!), the next afternoon, our house was listed on the MLS (we opted not to have a sign out front); two days later, there were five offers – $ 20-​$ 50k above the asking price, and our home was removed from the MLS. We accepted an offer from a wonderful young family. John who has extensive experience working short sales with banking/​mortgage companies, worked with our mortgager and within 3 weeks, the offer was accepted!
I want to say something about John’s incredible work ethic and this transaction: this young, adorable family made the lowest offer, but we were smitten with them and their story; because John knew our angst about leaving our dream home, he was extremely supportive of our choosing who WE wanted in our home; not ONCE did he pressure us to take the highest bid in order for him to make a larger commission! That made such a lasting impression on us!
This is, by far, the BEST experience we have EVER had with a real estate broker (and we’ve bought and lived in 5 different homes in the Oakley/​Brentwood area over the past 22 years)! We highly recommend John Kenney! We will use his services again!

This company manages a property right next to our property and I called twice to make a complaint about the tennants’ dog and its owners allowing it to be a nuisance. I then received a phone call from an employee, who accused myself and my family of being prejudiced. They also broke their realtor oath by not protecting their clients. They began to state personal information about the tenants. I did not ask for any of this information. I then called the owner of this business, and this person was just as unprofessional and uncooperative and irrational as the staff. And stated that the dog had been poisoned and accused us of doing it. Now how bright would that be, us making a complaint about a dog and then poisoning it? Then stated that if we werent happy there then we should move out. This was way out if line. I cannot beleive this person owns and runs this business that deals with the public and makes statements like this to residents of a city where the business is run. We were just following what the owners of the property advised us to do. And that is to call this business who they entrusted to handle their property with professionalism and tactfullness, if we had any problems or concerns about the tenants or property? This business is horrible and I wouldnt trust them to manage an out house. If you want professionalism and integrity don’t give this place your business. Double thumbs down.
