Bought one bottle of wine too many. Decided to bring it back for a return. Mind you this is a sealed unopened bottle of course and I have the receipt. Guy says they don’t take returns because it’s against the law. Really? Where? Guy says«It’s because it might be tampered with». Really guy? It’s sealed and even corked! How and why would someone tamper with that! Then he says maybe he’ll do an exchange if I want something else… huh? I thought you just said it’s illegal to take it back? Listen it’s real easy. Be honest. Try it. People are not stupid. Have I returned alcoholic beverages before at other places? Yes. Apparently other places are breaking the law? Or at the very least maybe they care about customer service over money. Yes we all know there are liquor laws and basically consumers are not allowed to «sell» liquor, or even back to a seller, I get it. But I wasn’t selling it. It was already sold to me by YOU and I had a receipt for it. That makes it perfectly fine to take back. And yes, I would have actually bought something else had you not been so shady. I usually buy those $ 100+ bottles of high end scotch. But it’s my fault for trying a new place to buy and I was not on my usual route. I should have drove a bit more and stuck with my usual store. There’s more than enough other liquor stores out there everyone. Skip this one.

The owner Greg knows his stuff from wine to bourbon and is more than fair in his assessments of everything that he carries. You give Greg a price point and he will give you good value for your dollar. Very knowledgeable about his products and will match those products with the customer’s needs. He’s straight forward and honest which is a relief in today’s retail environment. My favorite wine store.

Store owner def knows knows his stock and every time I go in there tries to help with any questions and pick out the perfect wine for any occasion. I’ve found lots of wines in different price points depending on what I’m looking for

I’ve bought several hundreds of dollars worth of bourbon here, but the guy who runs the shop is a little too slick for his own good. No matter how many times I go in, he gives me the same introductory spiel about how he gets all the hard-to-get stuff, but«whether he puts it out on the shelves is another thing». On one occasion, I inquired about a bottle that was in a glass display case(with no price on it) — he laughed and explained that he usually sells bottles like that only to his preferred customers, to which I said, «If you don’t want to sell it, why put it on display?» Eventually, he did sell it to me, but not before putting me through the wringer. Another time, we had another of our«first-time meetings» and he asked me what I was looking for, and explained that what was on the shelves wasn’t everything he has. I told him what I was looking for, asked him if he had it, and he replied«Maybe. How much you looking to spend on that?»(It was a $ 40 bottle, at most). I politely explained that I probably know a lot more about bourbon than he does, know how much things are supposed to cost, and will not get taken advantage of. You might find some nice bottles here, but you might also have to jump through hoops to get them. Don’t let yourself be taken advantage of, and don’t be afraid to walk out the door. There are a lot of liquor stores in this area, and with a little effort, you’ll find what you want.
