History

Established in 2002.

Owner Mike has been in the bar business in Bridgeton (in fact, on Natural Bridge) for over 30 years! First came The First National Drink at the corner of McKelvey and Natural Bridge, he owned in partnership with a friend. He then set out on his own and opened The Bridgeton Inn further east down Natural Bridge, right across the street from the airport runway. The Bridgeton Inn was the oldest bar west of the Mississippi and many airport workers will remember the old green building they frequented for washers or a after-work beer, sometimes at 6am! They say Charles Lindbergh stopped in a time or two. This history didn’t stop the airport buy-out from tearing it down and Mike was once again left looking for a new place to «land» in Bridgeton. So back to the same shopping center where First National Drink used to be he went. A big sign that read «Mikie’s Back» graced the front entrance as he let the locals know he had landed in Bridgeton once again. Hence the name, Lehmann’s Landing.
