Chris Nikel Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Purchased my new 2015 Rubicon Wrangler Unlimited from Chris Nikel, after visiting two other local dealerships. I had settled on the Rubicon «Hard Rock» edition, but they did not have one in the color I wanted. They exchanged one of theirs for the color I wanted, from another dealer out of state. Very professional, courteous, and accommodating. I rarely leave feedback, but I felt that they tried a little harder to please. More so than some of the other dealers I visited. Hopefully my future service visits will be as satisfactory as the purchase.

I’ve bought two vehicles from Chris Nikol, I will not make the mistake of buying from them again. The service used to be really good, until this spring. When you called the service department your call goes to a voicemail and no one calls back. It don’t matter how many messages you leave, you won’t hear back from them. I had to bring my Dart in because the Cruz quit working. It was repaired under the extended warships, in which you have to pay. $ 100 deductible. Two months later the Cruz quit again, they forced me to pay the $ 100 deductible again! Now the Cruz is acting up again, it works somedays but not on others. I’m not going to let these guys touch it again. I’m going to call Chrysler and see if I can take it to a different service department and not get charged for the deductible again. I’ve already paid $ 200 and it’s still not repaired.
I baught a set of Goodyear tires from them three years ago for my Ram 1500, two of them have shredded as I was driving. Once on the Turner Turnpike near Bristow, and the other in Irving, TX. The tires are out of warranty, and I’m aware of that, but two of them are looking like they are separating, and are about to split. They have about half their tread on them. They are not that worn. So I go out there today and talk to Cory, because God knows they won’t answer their phone, he said its my fault the tries shot, said I went up on curbs or ran them too low on air. Told me to take them to a Goodyear store and tell them my story. So while I’m there sitting in the service department the phone starts ringing, Cory is busy with me, but two other guys are just shooting the breeze. They are not with customers, the phone rings 5 times and then goes to voicemail! These other guys should have picked up that call. If the person who called had the same experience as I have had they will not get a call back.

The Service Department provides everything, but service. They make up lies, excuses and are not accountable. They are the example of what not to be or how to act.
I work for a company that has purchased several trucks from this dealership and you can count on it having to go back in a second time to complete the repair. They provide a timeline which they never meet. I dread knowing my truck has to go in for a repair and/​or recall work because they are a hassle to deal with.
This department needs overhauled and the circus needs to be saved for the children and not for us hard working men. Enough is enough and I couldn’t be more excited to hear we are no longer using them as a vendor.

Salesman Dean Nixon can be rude and condescending. It wasn’t my favorite way to be treated.

I had a good experience with the sales side of Chris Nikel but the service department is lacking.
During the first warranty visit they had to replace a window regulator and all of the door panel hardware (screws and plugs) was left on my floor, along with one of their tools, not securing the door panel to the car as it should have been. They also left a bunch of grease smudges on the headliner and steering wheel, scratched the door panel and damaged the turn signal stalk. The second visit was for an unrelated issue but I asked them to take care of the problems that weren’t addressed (and caused) during the first visit and they completely blew them off. Although I described the issues clearly over the phone, they were completely undocumented. Again they were clueless when I picked it up and didn’t even offer a half-​hearted apology.
I realize it’s a cheap car but I would expect at least some minimal standard of service and respect towards customers.

I purchased a diesel Jeep Liberty here from Hans in October 2005.
Hans was professional and courteous and we couldn’t be happier with our Jeep. Keep up the great work!
