The river was awesome. A rough spot at the beginning but very easy to go through. The teens loading and unloading the bus didn’t give any hint as to where to go or what to do so that is the reason for my 4 stars. Price wasn’t bad($ 24 for a canoe that hold 2 adults and 2 kids) and the river was great.

We called and asked if our kid was allowed in a canoe. They said yes as long as he could walk. We drove all the way there with 17 people and they said that they could only allow us in a paddle boat.

I love this. This attraction is one of the best at beavers bend state park if you ask me. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Everytime I come, I must do this float at least three times; you never know what your gonna see. The prices are reasonable and the people are very helpful and friendly. The canoes, kyaks and life vests are a bit old, but what do you expect, it’s a very popular attraction and are used all this time. This isn’t the floats at the sandals resort Rachel W. Anyway, if you listin closely while going down, you will here other waterfalls that you can’t see but can dock your canoe or kayak and look for it. The hidden waterfall is a site to see.

First off if you are wanting any sort of customer service do not expect to get it here. I think the guy running the place must have partied over at the greatful head the night before because when we arrived he was passed out on the couch in the office LOL! Teenagers were doing all the work so you know what to expect… Anyways we paid 32 bucks for a canoe and kayak and were loaded on a short school bus and headed off to the river. We unloaded and got in the boats(hopefully in the right direction since the driver never told us which way to go or what to expect) Well the tranquility of the river and views made up for all that! We saw turtles, cranes and waterfalls my three year old daughter had a blast! And my son loved the kayak we were out there a good two hours which is the max they give you. When we got back to the place a teenage girl helped get us out of the boats. Needless to say I gave them all a tip since they were doing all the work. I will defiantly research another spot before going here again did I happen to mention that my life jacket smelled of sweaty gym socks eeeeeh! The brocuhure offers nachos ice cream ect. yah right that ain’t happening and good luck finding a bathroom.
