Established in 2009.

By Your Side Tutoring has been committed to developing young minds since 2009. By Your Side Tutoring was founded by Jonathan Berenguer and Jessica Bouret. By Your Side Tutoring has always used proven educational techniques to instruct children. Jonathan Berenguer believed that, although many teachers did an admirable job in the classroom, many children did not learn well in traditional institutions. Many children don’t respond to the assembly line nature of most institutions. He believed that a child’s strengths and natural ability needed to be the foundation of learning. Together, Jonathan, Jessica, and an amazing team of tutors have brought out the true potential in many students. At By Your Side Tutoring your child is seen as an individual, and natural strengths are identified and built upon.

Jonathan B.

Business Owner

Jonathan Berenguer graduated with honors in Math and Science and entered college on a full scholarship for teaching. He graduated with a degree in Environmental Science with a focus in Education. He also received awards as a club president and received an advanced certificate in Social Change Leadership and another in Entrepreneurship. Jonathan has passionately pursued a life that inspires and motivates young minds to be engaged in learning. He seeks to bridge the gap between school and home by providing excellent and affordable tutoring services in the Bronx.
