Best food/vendor at Yankees Stadium both in terms of quality and value. Yes it likely will have a line and generally the servers act bothered to take your order(we are at a concession stand in Yankee Stadium after all), however the philly cheesesteak more than makes up for it. Personally I like topping the philly cheesesteak with onions and cheese whiz(so unhealthy yet so tasty) although you can elect to not add vegetables and select either no cheese or provolone/American cheese slices. The stand is convenient located near the right field foul pole on field level so it is very convenient to grab you food right after you enter the stadium and before you find your seats.

Cheesesteak is awesome, line and service not so much. But hey, we are in Yankee Stadium what do you expect. In my opinion probably the best thing you can eat in the stadium. You can order with or without onions and with white American or cheese whiz. Either way it’s awesome and worth the wait.

This Carls although it is in a stadium manages to create a delicious cheese steak. The meat and the cheese were top quality and the price point reflects that. The stadium doesn’t offer too many good options. If you are looking for a satisfying sandwich while watching the game look no further.

The only time I eat«cheese whiz» is when it’s in a Philly cheese steak. Carl’s whiz 6 inch cheesesteak was amazing, better than most that I’ve had in Philly. Carl’s food truck came all the way to Dumbo, Brooklyn today(yay!) (I’d imagine the food truck is a much shorter line than Yankee stadium if you catch the truck.) You MUST get the cheese whiz though, and grilled onions. Don’t be afraid of the cheese whiz, trust me! If you really can’t then provolone is another good choice, but it’s not as empty and juicy as getting the whiz. Really soft delicious hoagie bread and juicy beef. I’ve had Philly cheesesteaks that had dry thin sliced beef before but Carl’s was really flavorful and not skimping. 6 inch was a great size for lunch. Thank you Carl’s for bringing These cheesesteaks to New York City, now I don’t have to travel all the way to Philly!

Wow… The Cheesesteak at Carl’s was AMAZING! I heard about this place through several people who are regulars at Yankee Stadium. They told me about the cheesesteak being exceptional delicious! I took their word for it. The line was super long despite the multiple cashiers at registers. I ordered the regular Philly Cheesesteak. The bun was soft on the inside and a little hard on the outside. The meat was juicy and tender! Topping the steak with American Cheese, it was delicious! The Cheesesteak was full with meat which is surprising as a stadium food! I sat very far from this vendor so my sandwich got a little cold but it still tasted GOOD!!! $ 11.00 is indeed expensive for a Philly Cheesesteak even though it was a lot of meat. I do recommend this as your game day food! I can’t wait to come back here for the Cheesesteak again!

Pretty much the only thing I want, besides another New York Yankee World Series win, is a Carl’s Cheesesteak. These are the most authentic, delicious and downright addicitive sandwiches at the ballpark! Made to order and super fresh(its all about the bread) I’ve never been disappointed. So glad there are multiple places in the stadium to get them… and now he runs mobile food trucks in and around the five boroughs! Awesome!

One of the best food options at Yankee stadium! The bread is always fresh and they make the steaks to order. The only downside is that when the shopping mall err I mean stadium is full the line does get overwhelming and often they’ll only throw on one cheese of their choosing.

For a cheesesteak at a baseball stadium, this is as good as it gets. Carl’s cheese steaks are generally amazing and the one in NYC is great and this one is just about there. You don’t have the same options, but you get the same large amount of meat and just about the same great taste. If you are watching the Bronx Bombers live and where they belong, then grab a cheese steak and an order of garlic fries and enjoy the victory!

A true destination restaurant in the Bronx. Except that the destination is really the Yankees, and it’s not a waiter-oriented restaurant. But if you’re at Yankee Stadium an hour before game time, get in line. Ask for extra Cheez Wiz, a double order of hot peppers, onions, and you’re almost a hundred miles south in Phila. When they get to import the Amorosa rolls, you’re all the way.
