History

Established in 2000.

Dancers DreamZzz was founded by Debbie Melendez in December of 2000 with the help of Fred Parra owner of Pas-​son Martial Art located at the time on Westchester Ave & Theiriot in the Bronx and since then Dancers DreamZzz has flourished. In addition students look forward to performing at various venues like, Great Adventure Dance Festival, the 5^th Ave Puerto Rican Day Parade, Walt Disney World, Walt Disney land, Hispanic Festival at South Street Seaport and a chance to travel performing through-​out the Tri-​State area, the United States and abroad.

Debbie is not only the founder of Dancers Dreamzzz she is also the Director. Debbie is also the Founder & Director of the Youth Dance Festival, the event was created in memory of her brother David Melendez a Mambo pioneer who lost his battle to cancer in February of 2007. Debbie helps promote the NY Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at South Street Seaport as well as several other venues like the NY Salsa congress, etc. Debbie is constantly involve either a community project, tri-​state area or abroad. And she also keeps her kids at the dance studio busy as well.
