I was craving oxtail and a friend picked some up from this spot. The large, oxtail with rice and peas with cabbage, was underwhelming. It was manageable but there was no heat or real flavored going on. I think I enjoyed Golden Krust more than this. If you want some real oxtail just go to Richie Rich at Fish Ave near Boston Rd.

I come here often for the goat roti… Mouthwatering! Expensive but worth every cents. The owner is overly friendly, but the staffs not so much. The place could used a major makeover with very little to space dine in. Best takeout your dish, highly doubt there’s delivery service. Everything on menu looks delicious and presentable. I recently had the chicken soup it was delicious. Parking is atrocious, walk or ride your bike.

I ate here a few times before and the food is good, owner friendly. However; today I walk there in the 9 degree weather craving the stew chicken rice and beans and cabbage. Very disappointed today. The food did not taste fresh had a taste of second day food and hint of spoilage especially the cabbage. The chicken was browned to much which makes it hard to chew, it looses that soft tender taste. I was not happy today with the food, but will try them again in the near future. We all slip up I guess.

For the area, it is good Jamaican food, but the portions are never the same(and they are already relatively small). I once ordered a medium size(rather than the small) and it had the same amount of meat, but twice the rice and peas; I was frustrated to say the least. I still eat here because I have no other alternative, but I can’t give it any more than an average rating.
