Specialties
Wasabi Sushi & Sake Lounge brings a sophisticated, modern take on traditional Japanese food to the greater Milwaukee area. Our belief is that happiness can come from the simple pleasures in life, such as the complete satisfaction that comes from enjoying inspired, flavorful cuisine. Our chefs give artistic performances with their mastery of sushi preparation, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients — all presented beautifully on the plate. Our staff exceeds customers’ expectations through their persistent dedication to excellence. We aim to share the rich culture of Japan and the unique intricacies of sushi with our diners, but with contemporary twists to keep things interesting.
History
Established in 2008.
Wasabi Sushi & Sake Lounge is the first Wisconsin-based restaurant created by Brian Park, who originally established himself as a successful restaurateur of multiple sushi and Asian-Fusion hot spots throughout Chicago. Wasabi has quickly secured its spot as the premier sushi destination in Brookfield, attracting diners from all over Southeastern Wisconsin and beyond with its inventive sushi and Asian-Fusion dishes, artistic plating, plentiful sake offerings, and inviting and knowledgeable staff.

Brian P.
Business Owner
Brian Park has opened a number of very successful restaurants in Chicago and the greater Milwaukee area — most recently Wasabi in Brookfield, Kanpai in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, and the Korean restaurant Stone Bowl Grill on Milwaukee’s East Side. He is incredibly well-versed in all things sushi and has a passion for seeking out the freshest ingredients possible. He creates wildly inventive dishes and often fuses a variety of Asian cuisines within the same menu (or even the same plate). His sushi lounges provide sleek, sophisticated environments where patrons can dine in style without breaking the bank.
