Not a store review but a company review!
If i could give a negative review i would, lets jump right in. I had been a Loyal sprint customer since 2011, way more loyal beyond what I should have been for bad service. For 4 years i have been dealing with CONSTANT dropped calls, POOR QUALITY internet speeds and random bill spikes. So this month i finally made up my mind to switch to T-​mobile, where if you choose to leave sprint you are SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO take your phone with you & let T-​mobile buy you out.
*This took About a week and a half!
But of course not! I got a new sim card from T-​mobile ready to go & then needed for sprint to unlock my phone. They refused the first time untill I paid the bill up too current so I did. but I Had to go «IN STORE» to get the unlock code (which i already KNEW was a lie).
Second time I call to get the unlock code they ASK ME for my account number & keep me on hold for 30 MINUTES «looking for it». Gives me the unlock code telling me to just install the new simcard & it will ask for the unlock code. Lie. Does not work.
Third time i call back telling them i have no where to put the code, they say take it t-​mobile, (how tf would they know whats going on with a SPRINT PHONE???) call t-​mobile they say exactly the same thing. How should we know? Call sprint back!
Fouth time around i park where there is a conveniently a sprint RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO A T-​mobile (Thank God) go in sprint where withing two minutes they tell me it WAS A TECHNICAL PROBLEM & HAD TO BE HANDLED OVER THE PHONE, NOTHING THEY COULD DO IN STORE. which is exactly why I knew it was a lie when they said it the the First Time!
FIFTH TIME! YES 5! Go into the parking lot & call sprint & im like look i paid what i was supposed to pay & ITS ONE OF YOUR DEALS to be able to take the phone, so what is going on? «Oh well in order for me to help you still have to pay— i cut her off like how tf did i get the unlock code if I still have more to pay? –«Silence». She then reluctantly gives me the method which brings me to TWO MORE CODES THAT I NEED!!! THAT SHE «DOESN’T HAVE» Foh!!!
After that I just hung up in her face went into T-​mobile & traded in the sprint phone, which gave me a 215 dollar credit so i only had to pay 199 down for the brand new double sided edge. It works SOOOOOO GOOD! sprint has NOTHING on T-​mobiles service! 5 stars! Lightning speed internet, high quality calls, Just Everything Perfection!!!
I am however literally disgusted by sprint. How their service is complete garbage & then when you cant take anymore & opt to leave they give you the WORST RUN AROUND. Ceo’s of this company will probably die of greed related incidents. Word of advice if you delivered on service you wouldnt have anyone trying to leave ahead of contract time & for you to TRY & trap them when YOU are the one that sucks is lame on your part. Step your service up son.
You couldnt pay me to go back to sprint. Even if the plan was free. All the times I spent embarassed trying to show someone something that just WOULD NOT LOAD, Or times when i needed the service to entertain my children & things wont download, wont play, Dropped calls yelling HELLO? HELLO?!! all of it Annoying & disrespectful af, NEVER AGAIN. seeing anything sprint ever again would still be too soon. Just know that EVERY CONVERSATION I HAVE ABOUT PHONES & CARRIERS I will bring this up. Damaging every opportunity for anyone I know going to sprint for service. Hopefully they will talk with others too. I also will make sure that any other review page i cross that has to do with sprint that i comment this same exact review. Screw You shint, I mean sprint.

I want to preface this review by saying this is not a commendation of the Sprint Store as a whole, but rather as strong a review as possible for Alexis R. We came in late with a baby, needing a new phone right away, and she was as professional, helpful, efficient, and honest we could have possibly hoped. We were in and out in 15 minutes, understanding both how to use our phone and our phone was fully updated and we were completely satisfied. Trust me when I say she is not the norm, in fact usually customer service at this location leaves something to be desired. Highly recommend if you use this location, that you wait for Alexis or make an appointment with her if possible.

Just purchased two phones from this location. Alexis was superb — knowledgeable, patient, and just a pleasure. She showed us the differences between the different options, and once we selected the Samsung, she set the two new phones with all of our requests. Cannot say enough about the excellent service we received from Alexis. Would recommend this store to anyone, but especially if Alexis is there.

I have NEVER written a Unilocal but am doing so now since i have NEVER been so mistreated at a retail establishment — staff are RUDE, CONDESCENDING, INCOMPETENT, and SNIDE. Avoid at all costs. I’m considering leaving Sprint as a result of the Coolidge Corner branch.

I went to this store to buy the new Iphone for my son’s birthday. He wanted the gold one. They told us that if we bought a $ 50 gift certificate they would reserve the phone. They also said it should only be a few days. A month later they still don’t have the phone. I finally went to the Apple store and bought it there. When I went back to this store and asked if I could use the gift certificate toward my bill they said no. I then asked if they would refund the $ 50 — again they said no! What a scam and what a rip off! I’m livid and hope other people don’t get ripped off like I did!

Stay away from Sprint, and from this store. You have Verizon and AT&T just round the corner, it will be worth your while to go to the other stores though they are more crowded and you will end up waiting longer.
I went to Sprint and got a Hotspot device, and regretted my decision ever since. In their coverage map, my address showed up as an area with strong 4G coverage. However, all I got was 3G coverage, and one bar signal strength out of four. It was quite frustrating to use this device as it took about 2 minutes to load a page from NY times on my iPAD. Even my TMobile smartphone converted into a hot was lightning fast compared to Sprint. I was very disappointed, and decided to return my device at this store where I purchased it.
When I tried to return the device, I was told I am liable for a $ 35 restocking fee and the $ 35 activation fee wouldn’t be waived. While purchasing the item, the salesgirl specifically told me that the activation fee would be waived on return if I was not satisfied with its performance. Surprisingly, the assistant manager then told me that I needed to get the device back in within 48 hours for the activation fees to be waived. This was news to me. If I was aware of this beforehand, I wouldn’t have waited for the weekend to bring in the device. Their staff are very stubborn, unhelpful and unsympathetic.
So. the bottom line is this — it cost me $ 70 to try out their product, which didn’t work as advertised. Be warned — this can happen to you as well. Better be safe than sorry — stay with the established carriers like Verizon or AT&T, or even TMobile for that matter. This is not to say that Verizon and AT&T have better customer service, but at least their network and coverage is superior, and you will not end up in a situation like mine.
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with the unprofessional staff and customer service of SPRINT.

I’ve been a Sprint customer for almost a decade and that is about to change. Let me say first that the employees of this store/​branch deserve none of the criticism in this review. My beef is with Sprint and especially Sprint’s warranty provider.
1) DO NOT GET A WARRANTY WITH SPRINT
2) better yet do not get a Sprint phone
Here is how the warranty scam works… I had the top level warranty as well. You pay monthly, for me it was $ 11/​month. The purchase contract, the receipt, and the service-​plan/​warranty contract may all say one thing regarding your deductible — but alas Sprint can apparently change this at any time and there is nothing you can do about it! …this is not however mentioned anywhere in the fine print but the deductible is NOT A FIXED PRICE.
Needless to say if you add up all of the months of this bullcrap warranty I paid; plus the new increased deductible, I end up paying almost 3 TIMES what I originally paid for the phone…
And the best part — they ship you out a _​refurbished phone_​as a replacement; and you need to send your old one back in 10 days or get fined up to $ 600!
Seriously — F#@# Sprint…

I don’t know if I left a review on this store before but herre goes. I should have never left my existing carrier which i left because the unlimited data plan caught my but it wasn’t worth it. I was greeted by Todd who began to help me. He didn’t have a password to have access to look up corporate discounts so he asked another girl. This girl then said she’s not too sure if she remembered her password. She got it after two or 3 tries. Then he handed me off to her because he had to leave but yet he was still guiding her. Mind you she was not a new employee from what he stated and how she made herself sound. The whole process was long and the way she was trying to figure things out was elementary. I was happy to get my new Samsung Galaxy S4. Within a matter of 2 + weeks of service I noticed a lot of connection/​network problems. They were working on the 4G network it won’t be fully up for a year. Technically they are still on 3G coverage when not on wi-​fi. Also I’ve noticed when even on the 4g there would still be problems. Reception sucks even in the Brookline area. I was on the phone with their customer service staff at the 800 # and they told me that i could bring my phone to the store and they can honor my early term fee $ 350 with proof of my email stating it can be waived do to my network problems and possibly get money back for my phone since I will nop longer need it and you can’t use with any other network. I went to the store yesterday and they would not let me cancel my plan at the store like the cust service people said nor would they give me any $ back or even offer the buy back plan. The girl Nikki I think her name was had a i don’t care take what I’m telling you attitude or leave. She had no sympathy. I spent about 45 minutes with their customer service center with 3 different people who all sounded like they were from India and all they wanted to know was why I was leaving the company and only the 3^rd person can help with cancelling my account but it will still be billed until ⁵⁄₃₁^st and no one can answer any questions on what to do with the sprint phone that I can no longer use. They all asked the same questions about why I’m leaving and a phony oh i’m so sorry. Nobody looked at the account from my previous phone calls. I finally got a manager who could help me and she was professional and told me everything I needed to hear. Overall totally unsatisfied and Verizon is the best.

Being a Sprint customer for over a dozen years in Boston means I have been to this store many, many times. Generally speaking, my experience has not been great; long waits, poor or incomplete resolutions, etc. However, they recently took a turn for the very much better.
Specifically, tech Steven has helped me out of a couple tough situations with my phone in the last several months, quickly, easily, and very, very conveniently. These are the kinds of situations that used to have me going back and forth between Sprint Corporate and the store, with hours on the phone and multiple visits to Coolidge Corner. But these past two times, I couldn’t have asked for better service; both times I left the store with a working phone within an hour with zero hassles. He is single-​handedly turning around my impression of this store.

The worst customer service, the store manager in particular! Me and my husband own Samsung Galaxy S II. After updating the phone with the update that Sprint forced on us, we had major issues with our phones. The second update that came up recently, screwed up my husband’s phone completely; the phone just froze dead! We went the store in Brookline few times to complain, and every time were treated as if we were complete idiots! It’s unacceptable! The manager was the most rude. He said there is nothing he can do, but reset the hard drive and that the smart phones freeze sometimes! When my husband said that after the last update his google calendar stopped sincing with computer and he will loose his entire calendar if he reset the phone’s hard drive, the manager just shook his arms and said that it’s not his problem! WHAT? I couldn’t believe! I already knew that this guy is rude, but I didn’t realize how much! If you can, avoid that store, or Sprint altogether!

Props to Mike, one of the repair guys at Sprint. He was extremely helpful, and super nice. He estimated 2 hours to fix my phone, but emailed me in about an hour that it was done. All I needed was the display to light back up, from my dumb ass dropping it too many times. Not only did he fix it, but he also replaced the casing and face of the phone. Only $ 35 without insurance… however…got that price taken off if I agree to pay for insurance $ 8/​month for at least 4 months. So really, considering it would have been $ 35 to get it fixed, I basically got a new phone with 4 months of free insurance! I also got a little info packet on how to save battery life, and info on what they did. I was at another Sprint store for repair a few months back (I guess it’s about time I got insurance), and got the bare bones treatment without a smile and no paperwork. The dude even looked put off when I asked for a receipt. This store is much better run. Thanks Mike!

This sprint has made me want to drop sprint! I bought a HTC 3d and two days later it stopped working. I brought it in and they said they have no idea what happened and will order me a new phone. It has been a week and they now say that they have no idea what I am talking about and did not order me a phone! I am so aggravated! I lost a job because I missed the call!

We went there today to add a line to our family plan and the sales person went above and beyond to help us out and the manager at the store was super nice and helpful as well. This made the whole experience pleasant. I highly recommend this store.

My brother got his first smartphone from here yesterday. The guy that helped us, James, was so helpful the second we got there. He was honest about which phones were good and which to avoid. The manager also came over to make sure we were happy with everything. All in all, I was really impressed with Sprint and the customer service!

True the service is slow but a. that is true in every cell store Ive ever been in and b. the service time depends on the needs of the customer and I thought they were super thorough.
Lets face it, cell phone companies are evil but Diana at the store in Brookline helped me find that I was eligible for a 23% discount on my bill bc of where I worked and helped me get a new phone after I lost mine, same day.

this location has had me running in and out of their place… they had this one lady who was miserable from the start. granted it was 2 hours till they closed up for the nite — ya i feel so bad for them. I needed my phone looked at by a tech and all i got from this woman, whilst waiting were evil looks and obnoxious comments.
ive worked service end jobs where i regularly had to interface with the public… if acted the way she had, i’d be on my butt reall reall fast.
HOWEVER,
because i am a slave to my space phone — thanks for the new fun label Katie — i went back… to the same store.
Me [salty as hell]: so can we work this out today… my patience works as well as my phone does.
Sprint Attendant: Well sir, how can i help you?
me [still salty]: im fresh out of class and need to get my phone sorted out because it holds all my important life plans, you know those that get interrupted everytime i gota come here to be jerked aorund.
Sprint [still patient]: well let me please have a check in with one of our techs it shouldnt be more than 15m.
{15 minutes + 1 cigarette}
Sprint: Well sir we’ve ordered a replacement for your phone come back in 3 days and we transfer all your data.
me [feeling like a massive jerk]: well, thanks.

well needless to say when i returned to retrieve my replacement, i was more than apologetic to the gentleman, for both remaining a professional and putting up with a little attitude.

What is wrong with this place? I walk in, put my name in their check-​in system. I wait a few minutes in the store to find out was skipped and my name disappeared from their system! What?
The employee then proceeds to tell me it’s just switching names. When I say no that doesn’t make ANY sense, he suggests that I left the store while my name was called. No, sir I was there the whole time.
When I finally helped I met by Virgina K, you’ll know it’s her when she runs in assuring everyone she was just 1 minute late from lunch.
Virgina was very short with me. I came in with a phone that I had for almost 3 years that had ended its life by BREAKING IN HALF the day before. Virgina says, «That’s physical damage. We can’t fix that.» DUH!!!
She then had to talk to my mom who was in charge of my account and was RUDE TO MY MOM! She was questioning her intelligence and being short with her. I have no patience for that.
After she proceeded to not know about her products and be incredibly unhelpful in picking out a phone.
I have no idea how Sprint gets away with such horrific customer service. Thank God I only have to deal with them every 3 years.

I feel like people mostly review places like this when they have bad experiences, so I felt like putting up a positive review of this store.
Everything here pretty much went fine.
Ok, so it might’ve taken a while, like 25 minutes, to get helped, and I did get the feeling that they only had two people working at the store, but who needs all that fake enthusiasm you get at [OTHER LEADING BRANDS]?
After someone did finally come to help, I signed up for new service, got a new phone, ported my old number over, and transferred contacts from my old phone to the new one. The guy who helped me out was nice and we were done not too long after. What more can I ask for from a cell phone store?

I’ve never had a bad experience at this Sprint location and always go there to upgrade and service my phones. The staff is pretty knowledgable and helpful although the person greeting at the door is both useless and annoying. One time I had to walk in and out 3 – 4 times in an hour because of parking and other stuff and she never recognized me once. She kept trying to get me in the queue again even though I was already being helped.
This location can transfer your contacts from one phone to another and help fix or replace your phone. It is spacious and they have a huge selection of phones. I donh’t understand why they have such bad reviews here…
