Reiki (pronounced Ray-​Key) is a Japanese energy healing technique that promotes harmony and balance on the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels. The word Reiki in Japanese means universe and refers to the life force energy that flows through all living things. This universal life force energy is also called Chi and Prana in other traditions. When this energy flow is low, it can result in depression, physical aches and pains, or illness. If this energy flows well and is balanced, it allows for a happy and vibrant life.

The path to becoming a Reiki healer was a calling so strong for Kheng that once she considered it in thought, it took over her life rapidly sending her all the right teachers, books and guidance needed to fulfill this life purpose. She soon realized that with this new calling in life, she was to rediscover and nurture the intuitive gifts she first noticed at the age of eight.
