Decided to give this place a shot the other day, can’t say I’m too happy I did. Ordered a square slice and a regular slice. The square slice was half cold and bland as Hell. I poured on the oregano and crushed red pepper, but it didn’t make too much of a difference. The regular slice was a little bit better but $ 2.50 is a little bit more than i like to pay for one slice. Won’t be coming back here.

Prices are 2.50 a slice. Not my normal price. Pizza tasted old not fresh like they have been on the counter since afternoon, they also had a fresh cheese pie sitting there. While i waited I saw him take the old cheese slices,(one he gave me) to the back and put toppings on it and display it on counter again. First time here and I probably would walk down further a little to try the other pizzeria next time.

I went here last night, i live a few blocks away and no other place has pasta dishes and i was craving some, so i wanted to try it out. I ordered my usual test to a decent pizzeria a chicken parmgiana with spaghetti, if they can get that right, they are ok in my book. this place failed miserably! Where to start, first off after a few moments of waiting arounf and observing the owner discussing. something with a worker, i see him unfoil premade chicken cutlets, put them on a paper plate and microwave it!!! :(not good start. I get home of course it sucks, the pasta is bland and dry and stuck together! Like pasta that sits in a drainer to long. Overall a crappy dinner and waste of money. I wont be going back, however i will agree with some fellow Unilocalers the garlic knots were good.

Great slices, I almost cant believe after 15 yrs in Brooklyn that I hadnt discovered this place, and that the only reason I did was due to proximity to my new appt. As for the plain cheese pie, the slices deliver that perfect fusion of Crisp botton of crust, but doughy enough where it meets the perfect mellow, not too sweet, not acidic tomatoe sauce, plenty to lots of cheese; All of this makes A&L my go-to for slices and since I discovered it, I have been grabbing a slice often, which had not been the case for many years now. Thank you A&L for reestablishing my routine by delivering a phenomenal slice of Pizza

If you’re in the neighborhood and need a quick bite, A&L is the place to get it. You will get a nice hot slice of anything you want in your hands in about 2 minutes. The service is fast, and you’ll be out of there and burning the roof of your mouth before you know it. These guys love what they do, and it shows.

I really like this pizzeria, out of all of them on 18th ave, I always come here for their pies and garlic knots. A medium pie with 1 topping is around 15 bucks. I recommend their sausage topping, spicy and salty. Its a good deal.
