I cannot say enough positive things about Melissa and A Walk Around The Corner. She is so good with dogs — even unruly, strong pit bulls such as mine. She is beyond responsible — always on time, plans weeks ahead for any holiday/​vacations, does walks with little notice wherever possible — she is a huge advocate for all animals and makes my life so much easier when she walked my dog — I never worried for a second about who was caring for my pup. I’d give her a million stars if I could!

Melissa pet sits for us when we go out of town. She is great and obviously loves her job. She leaves a little report card for our pets after each visit, which is really cute. When we’re out of town for awhile she’ll send us email updates and even photos so that we know everything is going well.
Our only complaint is that she books up way ahead of time during holidays so be prepared to book her way in advance!

A Walk Around The Corner is an awesome dog walking service. I highly recommend them! Melissa — and my dog’s walker, Jackie — are both incredibly nice and accommodating. I was always able to text, email or call to make schedule changes.
Unfortunately, I just moved out of Park Slope so I can no longer use their services… but perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to get the chance to! Really great.

Melissa was reccommended to me by a co-​worker and I was not disappointed. She is very friendly and my dogs loved her. She is reliable (never once canceled and almost always came if I asked her at the last minute). She would always leave notes about what the dogs did and somtimes left me cute pictures of them too. Dog walkers are expensive in general, so I can’t say she’s cheap. but definitely cheaper than some of the rates I got from other walkers. She does Park Slope/​Windsor Terrace only, so when I moved she unfortunately didn’t follow me.
