Very nice store very nice things as well employees and management shouldn’t be get used out of the furniture for instance when a customer walks in he should have to tell can anyone help me for 10 min after that the manger who was helping me very sweet but shouldn’t be working or managing a furniture store when you go home you sleep not at work bunch of monkeys working their not wounded why Ashley are always closing down here is your answer

This is my first Unilocal post. Ashley furniture is a complete scam. I purchased furniture over a month ago paid in full to tell them I needed a specific delivery date. I was called on 3 separate occasions by Ashley furniture to move up my date. I explained to them I won’t be living there before The date requested. Today I get a call that they are changing moving companies and there is no delivery for 2 weeks. Then after arguing that I cannot sit on the floor I have a contract for this date the corporate offices tells me there is actually none of the items available. This franchise has no respect for people’s time or money. I am now stuck with looking for new furniture. They make up stories DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE IF YOU LOVE THEIR FURNITURE GO TO THE CORNER STORE same product and half the price. THEY MARK IT UP BECAUSE THEY ARE PAYING RENT FOR THE FRANCHISE NAME.

I wish that I had took the ONLY Two reviews they had before mine more seriously. I have been a customer of Ashley Furniture for over 4 years on the west coast. Because of THAT experience, I chose to buy furniture for my property in NY. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!!
Everything seemed to be going well until I had to deal with their CUSTOMER SERVICE. Wow! I simply called today to ask about my delivery time frame. They never followed-​up after the SELL and never contacted me to let me know that I was confirmed for a delivery.
I called the store and talked to TWO people with HORRIBLE customer service skills. No concern at all about my situation, JUST DEFENSE that «I should have known from my sales rep that this is an ALL DAY EVENT». He proceeded to tell me that my time frame is from 2pm to 7pm. I asked, «So, that is 5 hours not ALL day right.» His response, YEAH… but there is nothing we can do about it now.
NOT a sorry… but…“There is nothing we can do about it NOW!” Wow!
I then asked for a manager and HE proceeded to talk over me for the next 2 minutes as I almost shouted «I no longer can talk to you, please let me speak to a manager».
He transferred me to a woman in Customer Service… she reiterated the same thing. You should have known that this was an «ALL DAY AFFAIR».
I then asked to speak to the store manager. She transferred me to TY who claims that he was the only store manager available today. He took the transferred call fully aware of the situation based on his response. No, Hello at all. He just asked me if I was calling about my delivery for today and to place a complaint? I first asked him to give me the two names of the folks I spoke to before. He responded by telling me that the call was transferred by the store and he did not know the people who transferred the call. Wow… again!!! Luckily, i asked his name before I said anything else.
He also would not give me any information to contact a HEAD MANAGER because they don’t accept email or calls. He reluctantly gave me MIKE as the Store Manager’s name and that MAYBE he will be back sometime next week. I will be calling next week to talk to MIKE… I am anticipating that this HORRIBLE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM is a symptom of the leadership.
THEREFORE, I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS STORE AGAIN. AND I AM NOT SURE IF I WILL EVEN ACCEPT THE DELIVERY AT THIS POINT… CHANCES ARE THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WILL BE EXACTLY LIKE THE STORE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOLKS!
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DON’T SHOP HERE!!!

The absolute WORST store when it comes to customer service. I called the store to question the refund policy after my bedroom set was delivered WITHOUT any screws for the bed and mirror that attaches to the dresser and they HUNG UP!!! I immediately call back and they never answered. Called back AGAIN and was placed in hold for more than 5 minutes. Spoke to the manager Michael and requested corporate information and he showed absolutely no remorse or concern for my issue. The store information he gave was completely wrong. The only recourse they could offer to this ever growing problem was 1) send the bed back and wait for another delivery date or 2) keep the bed here; wait for the screws to be delivered; and have another service guy come and assemble the bed and mirror. I have learned my lesson, a pretty good deal on a bedroom set comes with a heavy price… That price being my patience and the time I wasted this Saturday waiting for my furniture to be «assembled»

Poor customer service. Purchased an item in December and was told one thing by the sales person. Followed up to see if I can have my delivery changed and I was told first my order was on back order than told it was canceled. Miraculously, when I asked for a refund, my item was available for early delivery. Go to the 86^th street location instead.
