Bank of America

I’ve had nothing but great service, I opened the account right before I was heading to Colombia for a couple of weeks, I needed to make sure that just in case of an emergency I have an account, and someone can always deposit money for me. I explained to them that I don’t need for my card to get declined while out there, I will be making large purchases, they made notes on my account, and everything worked out perfectly, unlike TD bank that declines everything you use your card for. When I came back I let them know a wire transfer will happen and please don’t block it, yet again no issues, wonderful!!! So far so good! I love the fact that I can just deposit money from the ATM, I never have to go to a teller, and the money is available right away, the hours do suck, but I barely have to go into the bank for something. There app is also great! I will never use TD bank again!!!

I’m usually the type of person that writes crabby reviews, (especially about banks) but the service I just experienced at this branch has to be publicized since it is one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever experienced from a branch. I was in Europe on a business trip and about to fly into Milan to meet my family for a vacation. I transferred about $ 1900 out of my bank account at BOA onto a Chase credit card for the car rental. Although I was promised that it would appear in 2 business days, after 2 days, nothing appeared. I called Chase to ask why and was told that because of the «usually large transaction» the money would be held 10 days before appearing on the card — even though Chase had already taken it from my account. (This kind of stuff is one of the reasons why I generally avoid Chase like ebola). The only thing I could to to override this was to have a representative from my bank call them on a conference call to assure Chase that the money had indeed left the account. Desperately, (from my European pre-​paid cell) I called this branch (which I’ve always liked for the very nice atmosphere and service rare in an NYC bank) and asked to speak with Matt the manager. Matt was amazing, he got on the call with me, explained to the Chase representative that the money had left the account and faxed over a balance statement. He was on the call for 30 minutes while the Chase rep straightened it out and even stayed on the call later — since I was on the European cell. I didn’t think that this kind of service was possible from a large bank and have never experienced this level of commitment to customers any where else.

bank of america as whole, is stuck in the 80s, they close at 3pm –4pm, its ridiculous… its not how todays society functions, at least open till 6pm, citibank, chase, td bank etc… have been adapting to our hours

This bank is almost too nice.
When you walk in, you might think you are in a club because you are greeted by a «hostess» at a podium who then directs you to where you need to go based on what business you have to do.
The employees were super friendly, especially Gordon who helped me out in a big way.

Ok the extra star is for the location and convenience of there being a room on a corner with 2 BOA ATMs… But can someone PLEASE get the temperature regulated up in this joint?
It’s either a sauna or a freezer.
There are no people available to talk to here btw…
