Benevento Pizza & Grill

Ordered lunch catering the night before for 15 people. At 9am the next day (5hours before the order was due) I called and canceled the order as we would not be in the area to eat lunch. After canceling the meal with one employee on the phone got a call back and was told by management that the food had been totally made the night before and they would not refund the charge to my card. Even if that is true and they made it the night before (total BS). They obviously aren’t making good or fresh food if they are preparing it 20hours in advance of pick up.

Excellent grandma style pizza

Bland and overpriced, thats how I would describe this total amateur operation under the bqe. The only reason I can ever see coming here again is location only. Ive never eaten such flavorless italian food… absolutely made with no love. The guys behind the counter are unprofesional and rude. Totally tasteless… avoid.

Word cannot describe how fresh and delicious the pizza here is (I recommend an upside down slice or any specialty slice) you cannot go wrong if goldilocks likes pizza instead of porridge her and the 3 bears –who obviously like pizza because they are from Brooklyn– would live in this place… just right

took over an hour for the delivery… I got the chicken parm on Spaghetti… the chicken part was ok, but the pasta was way bland… been feeling sick ever since I ate it (as is my wife), this will be one place we never order from again! burp!

This newly minted pizza joint is a serious upgrade from any other pizzeria in a 20 block radius. Before it opened you couldn’t find a good slice around here. The staff is cool and friendly. I like this place and hope to sample their menu further. Check the place out.

Not great for delivery. I ordered via Grubhub on a Tuesday afternoon and it took well over an hour to arrive. It was a small order.
EDIT: Well over and hour and a half.

I’m really surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews. My boyfriend and I ordered here on a whim one night. We ordered through Grubhub and got a pizza, some Stewarts soda, and some canolis. About 5 minutes later, I get a call, and it’s from someone working at Benevento’s, apologizing because they were out of Stewarts soda.
No big deal, since each bottle was about $ 2, I just asked if they could replace the $ 4 of Stewart’s with some $ 1 cans of Pepsi. Problem solved. Until the person on the phone informed me that they were also out of canolis. Bummer. I didn’t have the menu in front of me, so I couldn’t as easily think of something to replace the order with. The person on the phone suggested replacing them with zeppoles, and was nice enough to throw in some extra zeppoles for «giving me a hard time.»
The food arrived in a very timely manner, and the pizza was great. I never had zeppoles before so those were an awesome surprise as well.
I’ve continued ordering from Benevento due to their very professional service.
