Description

Specialties

Krav Maga is the official self-defense system of the Israeli Defense Force and is used by many other elite combat units and law enforcement around the world. In the 1970s, Krav Maga was adapted for civilian use. It is a martial art that anyone can use, regardless of size, strength and fitness, and is the ideal art for use on the street, a place where no rules exsist. Krav Maga emphasizes simple and practical techniques, real life scenarios and intense training. Practitioners learn to defend themselves against multiple attackers, sticks, knives and guns. Proper training requires physical and mental concentration and commitment.

History

Established in 1990.

Rhon Mizrachi, Dan 5, has trained in Krav Maga for over 35 years. He is determined to instill in other people the sense of right and responsibility to defend oneself, one’s family and one’s homeland that he believes in, and these beliefs led Rhon to establish a Krav Maga Federation in the United States. This Federation is committed to upholding the standards set by Imi Lichtenfeld and Haim Zut: to follow a moral code, to properly educate tomorrow’s fighters, and to ensure continued respect for what the Art of Krav Maga means to the people of Israel.
