Cool bar with tons of unique beers! Have gone here several times while I’m waiting to get seated at Paulie Gee’s. The bartenders are really great at recommending beers and they have a really nice patio out back.

Take out or stay, great vibe. Reasonable prices. I love speciality beers, they have stuff I’ve never seen before. Knowledgeable staff and free samples from their 19 taps to find what you like.

This is a quiet, low-key place to try a new beer. Interesting art, good music, and the service was on point.

Went into Brouwerij Lane on a Friday night to pick up a simple 6-pack for my husband and I to share(since it was reaching«freezing» cold status for us relocates southerners! The place itself was pretty busy, most people sitting at little tables enjoying their beer and conversation. We grabbed an empty carton and headed to the coolers. We picked from a varied selection of brews, mostly unfamiliar to me. The price of the beer was pretty steep to me($ 25 for a 6-pack) but I suppose when you look at it, you can’t buy six beers in a bar in NYC for that, at least not on a random Friday evening outside of Happy Hour. All in all, I will plan to return but also, given their space may venture out to another beer store for increased selection.

I can barely spell nor pronounce this place but this is an awesome joint. Fun spot in Greenpoint to do some beer tasting with friends. A cute and cozy bar. The fireplace was such a nice touch. Keep our hiney warm from the freezing winter’s night. This place was a big hit with our friends and we were able to score a table and enjoy trying more beers. Great selection of beers to taste with low to high alcoholic percentages. The staff was very informative and helpful.

Excellent selection, friendly staff and they feature art work of NYC artists. You can’t go wrong with this place. Love it.

Great beers, a backyard, and sometimes food. Brouwerij Lane hits on all cylinders. True, it’s not the biggest yard(especially when people are grilling hot dogs on a panini grill). And yes, it’s awkward to stand around in the corner waiting for someone to be available to pour you a beer. But hey, this is beer we’re talking about, not fine dining. Like most beer store/bar combinations, they have a rotating list of beers, ranging from local to imported specialties. Had a nice sour on tap. They also have kombucha so that’s a thing. When I was there, they were grilling Fleishers wieners. I got the last one before the panini press broke and they had to pull out some sort of pancake griddle looking thing. But hey, good hot dog.

While waiting for a table a few doors down, we grabbed beers at Brouwerij Lane to kill some time. The vibe is super casual and inviting. They have great selection of beers on tap as well as a cooler full of bottled and canned beer that you can either drink in house or take to go. When we were deciding what to order, there was a super knowledgeable employee standing nearby who offered his take on the beer, was able to explain yeast that was used in a particular beer and how it affected the taste, and offered to let me taste the beer before settling on it. We love finding a place where beer nerds feel right at home!

This place have a lot of beers, and a lot of good beers. So nice to come to a place like this. Different size on the glas if you wanna try a lot of beers or just have one big of your favourite one. The only complain I have is the bartender. He had just non interest of giving any tips, or be friendly or just enjoy his job. To create atmosphere as, for example, Top hops or Marshall stacks, there needs more then a bunch of good beers.

This place never disappoints. I feel so fortunate to have such exceptional beer spots in my neighborhood, and Brouwerij is easily in my top 3. Doubles as a bar and a beer shop, and they always have great local brews on tap. This weekend I came in for their featured sour beers. Top notch.

Hung out at Brouwerij Lane with a group of 5 while waiting(~2hrs) for dinner, and I can tell you the time definitely flew by here! They offer a great selection of beers on draft, all the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable– they were able to make great recommendations for the varied tastes of everyone in our party. In addition to the beer on draft, they also had extensive bottle offerings. In terms of food, they did offer small snacks(pretzels?), but these had sold out prior to our 7:30pm arrival. I’d recommend stopping by Brouwerij to grab a beer or two(or three)! It’s an excellent place to kill time while waiting for a reservation, but I’d also say it’s worth the trip on its own. Sidebar: I also loved their bathroom. Kegs of beer & some sweet StarWars wallpaper.

Cool little spot. Very Brooklyn and more so Greenpoint. Nothing fancy here at all. A shit load of beers on tap. You can taste anything you want. Hard to describe the interior without sounding brash so come check it out for yourself, just remember, that’s part of the charm!!! If you are into beers you can’t get at a regular bar this is your place. They’ve got their own brewery. Catch it!!!

Craft Beer Heaven They have a huge selection of craft beer that is constantly changing. Enjoy the beer there or get containers filled to go. They have tap, bottles, and cans. No mainstream beer hear, it’s the Brooklyn way, jew kno?

Even if you’re not here waiting to get into Paulie Gee’s, Brouwerij Lane is a solid place to get hard to find and otherwise magical beers. The guys who run the place are always incredibly helpful and polite! No food, just awesome beer. There used to be some snacks on sale(chips) but no longer. By the way, I was craving dessert(it’s a serious addiction, you know) and learned that by 9pm, that area of Greenpoint is a dessert/sweets WASTELAND. Don’t even think about having quality take-out sugar at that time. The draft selection is always on rotation, but if you’re on a quest for sour beers, there’s a Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co. «Acidifus Nelson» that hits the spot right now! D’oh. Forgot to take a pic of the space(getting in the habit). Well, it fits about 10 people standing or sitting at two high-top counters that are very close to each other. Additional standing room for about 5 more people. Basically don’t bring your entire posse here, but feel free to stand by yourself or with a cherished one around the antique fire-burning stove, thinking about the fermentation process that went into the beer you’re drinking.

Really chill spot to grab a beverage with a buddy or two. Choose from all the fun things on tap(always one Kombucha there too) or grab something from the fridge. It has this kind of feel like you’re chilling in your friends garage and having a few beers. That’s a good thing. Unpretentious with great selection of craft brews! Also as a bonus! The back has some tables when it’s warmer outside.

I think I can call this my favorite place to buy beer in NYC. I went in, bought a growler, filled it up with Belgian brown ale, and took it home. When I’m done, I will return the growler, and fill it up again, or get a refund. This makes me so happy. Beer is so much better in 64 ounce units than in bottles. They have some geeky good beer here. It’s like Europe. I shocked the guy with my pretty decent pronunciation of Dentergems Herfstbier. I’m not Dutch.
