I also went to the salon with a Groupon. While I thought the place was truly in shambles, what irked me the most was the $ 2 Groupon fee. I was quite shocked about it and ended up writing an email to Groupon about it. (Groupon credited my Groupon account the $ 2).
The manicurist while nice, did not do a great job with either the manicure nor pedicure. I was completely underwhelmed. The lack of polish selection also aggravated me.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I agree with the previous negative review. They are really incompetent and sneaky. The place looks horrible and dingy. I came because of the Groupon deal but will not go back there ever! They don’t know anything about nails and the woman cut my cuticle leaving a cut. The owner is rude– I wasn’t happy with the service so I left without leaving a tip of which the owner remarked on. Very unhappy !!

Horrible place, stay away. The lady that was «doing pedicure» had absolutely no idea of what she was doing. It seemed to me that she has never done it before. While cutting my nails off, she was constantly on the phone talking to customers, scheduling future appointments, giving directions to the electrician, etc. She asked me questions about the cuticles, and the shape of nails. I told her what I wanted her to do, however, she did not even touch the cuticles. The whole pedicure lasted probably 6 min. When she was about to color my nails (after she cut and filed them), I started telling her that it was not quite the service I ‘ve been expecting for. She told me when she used to work in the city, noone complained about her services and what do I want for $ 14. I got this deal on Groupon. Please, do yourself a favor do not waste your time and money on that disquisting place. I left this «salon» with undone pedicure, we didn’ t even get to the manicure, because I got up and walked away. Good thing, another salon was right around the corner.

I don’t enjoy leaving overly negative reviews. That’s not my style (please see my other reviews for proof). Unless, of course, the experience is so horrid that I feel obligated to warn future customers (or, in this case, future victims).
My friend and I decided to go here on a whim because Groupon is offering a deal. Apparently, they’ve only been open three days. Well, it shows! I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve never done nails before those three days either. Our nails look like a 5-​year-​old did them. I could have done a far better job by myself. And saved myself a headache and a few dollars while doing it.
– Mid service (and I use the word service loosely), they decide that we will each owe $ 2 extra for some sort of Groupon tax. What?! And no, that was not in the fine print on the Groupon website. Pretty sure they just made that up.
–The woman actually did my manicure while standing up as I was sat in the pedicure chair (someone else incompetent was doing my pedicure). Not surprisingly, she kept messing them up. And judging by my friend’s nails (who actually sat at a table while she got her manicure) the messing up wasn’t because the lady did them while standing. She would just take the polish and simply slap it on my nails like she was working on an abstract painting. No effort whatsoever to be neat or stay within the confines of my nail. None.
–She also kept forgetting to paint my thumbs. Apparently that’s difficult to remember to do. I had to keep reminding her. I also had to reminder her which hand she had already done a coat on. She seriously could not remember. I swear this woman was either not very bright or has smoked one too many joints in her life. Super slooow.
–Oh, and there was no attendance to my cuticles (mani or pedi). Zip. Zilch. And I left with a bloody toe (nope, no sorry or any acknowledgement of snipping me with the nail clippers at all).
I swear this first week of business is the first time either of the two women have EVER given a manicure or pedicure. We left looking worst than we did when we entered. Seriously. I am NOT kidding. Just look at the pics I posted. I could’ve done a crappy just like that at home.
There is so much more to complain about but this bitchfest is getting pretty lengthy so I’ll stop here. Just learn from our mistake. Stay away. Trust me!
