Where to start…
Okay first off, this isn’t the type of establishment you go to or eat in. i say that in the most concerned way possible. 1) they’re not the nicest, the lady anyway. 2) they’re not the cleanest, the teenage boys hanging around there make sure of it. 3) they’re nearly always crowded as heck.
We live about two blocks from here so we order, and pick up, or get it delivered if they so happen to have delivery (it’s on and off tbh).
Their sesame chicken, general tsos, chicken fried rice, i love. their fried rice does not have soy sauce THANK GOD FOR THAT. I’m not a soy sauce fan. you can add it yourself.
I hear their soups are great, I don’t do brothy soups so i wouldn’t know, but people in my family have raved. Same goes for the egg rolls. Not a fan, but have been with people who liked them. i’ve had people order their beef and broccoli as well.
back when they opened up and i was around 8, i use to order fries and nuggets and stuff like that, american fare, that was always good, haven’t ordered from that part of the menu since junior high though.
I’ve eaten inside, we clean our own table and hang out as we eat for a bit. I pity the workers and i understand why the lady is so stressed (and rude. though its no excuse). idiot teenagers and pre teens act like morons inside and out. they go in just to hang out, bring in outside food, give her a hard time in general. I pity her.

I’ve always had a great experience with this restaurant. Do try out their chicken wings with fried rice and chicken and broccoli with fried rice. Price is great too. Highly recommend it!

Food wasn’t that good for how long I had to wait for my food. I expected quick service but nope.
I ordered chicken with broccoli and General Tso, nothing to fancy except they gave me chicken with broccoli and Hunan Chicken, which I didn’t noticed until we got home.
But its Halal so that was the only good thing.

Their food is oily and gross!!! Seriously — I would never eat here again! They need to be shut down. The name halal shouldn’t even be on this place!

First of all, the farms that these «halal» chickens, lambs, and cows come from are from a Jewish owned farm who considers the meat halal if its killed under Jewish law
Second: Its unfortunate that I live down the block so when I’am hungry I run into here for a quick meal. The food is ok and just ok. Inside its filthy and always look like someone in the back said «f that, I aint cleaning shit».
Dirty tables all the time. even if the food is halal which its not, its disgusting to sit inside.
Third: the woman taking orders has the nastiest attitude ever. Questions like how big is the large is a real bother.

So I decided to try out this joint because I was in the mood for some seafood. Everything seemed fine and I was excited to taste my food. This place refused to refund over food I did NOT order effectively wasting the 60 minutes of my lunch hour. Sigh… what a stressful experience. NEVER AGAIN.

I never knew there would be a HALAL Chinese place until i came to Brooklyn.
I don’t think the food is any different compared to your average Chinese eat ins, only reason i go here is to get HALAL food.
I always take my food to go so can’t comment on dine in experience. But the dine is ok for what’s it worth.
my favorite dish which i would recommend is Chicken curry with rice!!! SUPER !!

The only good thing there is the chicken lou mein. Honestly the service sucks and the lady at the counter DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. She told a group of kids they cannot eat in the restaurant since the order was too small. They don’t deliver 5min away and they take forever. HORRIBLE

Their chicken mei fun is fantastic! (4 stars)
Delicious crispy egg rolls! (4 stars)
Wonton soup is fantastic! (4 stars) — in fact, the wontons tasted exactly like pork wontons, so a huge kuddos in pulling that off!
Sadly, I had to knock their rating from 4 to 3, because of the following:
1. Their fried rice is the worst I’ve *ever* had. And I’ve eaten a *lot* of fried rice in my day. Essentially, what they call «fried rice», isn’t fried at all. It’s steamed white rice with yellow food coloring, with a couple of peas & carrots thrown in. And it’s about as tasty as cardboard. No flavor at all. I highly advise against it.
2. Upon ordering, I asked them to pleeeease throw in a cup of hot mustard. The woman on the phone said «sure no problem», and, you guessed it, no mustard upon delivery.
3. I have to pay for fortune cookies? Really? Jeez, next I’ll be paying for packets of duck sauce!
Generally speaking, I would return. The place is clean (I checked their dept. of health rating before ordering, and they’ve had an A for the past year). Their mei fun, egg rolls, and wonton soup are great. I would just not order the «fried» rice, expect any hot mustard, or a fortune cookie that I didn’t have to pay for.

Halal Chinese! I never thought it existed until i walked by, It was pretty good! Dingy place but i had a good experience there with their lunch special.

This is one of the worst Chinese fast food places I have ever been to. Their Board of Health rating was passable. So I thought how bad could it be, it Say’s Hal al. But their food is terrible. I feel sorry for the people who patronize this place because they call it Hal al. This word means strict guidelines in preparing and cooking food that has no pork.
BUT THERE IS PLENTY OF HAIR! Yes Hair.
Twice in one week.
The ladys there at the counter who handle the money, also cook and handle food without gloves.
And they also prep the vegetables with no hand protection.
I have never seen them WASH THEIR HANDS!
You better check what your chewing before you choke on a hair ball.
Do you know how it feels when you get to the bottom of General Tsaos Chicken and you find a hair that is not yours.
