Super responsive, hard working team that really leaves my place shining (and smelling!) fresh and inviting every time. Maria and Don are lovely, and while I was initially concerned about the price, they are worth every penny! they are extremely responsive, and have gone out of their way for me on numerous occasions. I highly recommend them!

I’ve used several home cleaning services since moving to Brooklyn, but Don, Maria, and the team at Clean Home Clear Mind have blown them completely out of the water! From the moment I contacted them for a quote, it was clear that they truly care about their customers, employees, and the homes they clean.
After we made contact, Don & Maria scheduled a walk-​through of my apartment (unfortunately I was at work at the time and did not have the pleasure of meeting them myself). With my roommate, they discussed the areas of the apartment on which they’d focus, the types of products they’d use, and the cleaning supplies we’d need to purchase (mop, bucket, and paper towels — we already had the vacuum and broom). I appreciated from the start how thorough Don & Maria were in assessing our needs.
We were then offered a date and window of time for the first cleaning, and I was asked to put down a 25% deposit in advance of that visit, which I paid easily via invoice emailed to me (I had no problem with the deposit, though I wish there were a convenient way to pay this by cash /​check — paying online via Debit or Credit Card requires a 5% administration fee. It’s only a few dollars, but I hate those types of pesky, hidden fees. To Clean Home Clear Mind’s credit, they state explicitly on their website that all online payments includes such a fee). I was able to pay for the rest of the service on the day of via check, without any additional fee.
Prior to the initial cleaning, Don & Maria were extremely communicative about prepping our apartment and reminding us of our appointment. Finally, cleaning day arrived! I returned to my apartment from work a bit apprehensive as I’ve been disappointed by cleaning services in the past…
WOW. Just wow. Not only were the surfaces of our apartment (which is a bit run down and has definitely seen better days) literally SPARKLING, but the place smelled heavenly! Even the bathroom (for which we had to pay an initial extra fee due to how disgusting it was) looked and smelled beautiful! I paid an arm and a leg to another company for a «move-​in/​out style deep clean» upon moving into my apartment and they didn’t get the place half as clean as the Clean Home Clear Mind team did! They even left us a note and gift of Mrs. Meyers hand and dish soap (my favorite products!!). Don followed up a few days later with photos of the dirt monster the team cleaned behind /​under the refrigerator, which was at once terrifying and comforting. Despite the horror and embarrassment I felt that all that dirt was back there, I was so appreciative of the seriously thorough job the team did. I couldn’t have asked for better service from start to finish. Thank you Clean Home Clear Mind, I can’t wait for my next cleaning!

I can’t say enough about Maria and Don and their business! I’ve been using them for well over a year now and I’ve been incredibly happy with their service.
It’s clear that they have much respect for their customers, their homes AND their employees. Your initial meeting with them in person is informative and thorough — they clearly a have a lot of experience and have worked out the kinks. They make it very easy for their clients with reminder emails, an easy payment system and great communication.

Maria and Don are a true class act. I was initially drawn to them based on the consistency of high reviews and the promise of the essential oil at home. All spot on.
Meeting them in person and the extraordinary and thorough intake process they have for signing up new clients was deeply impressive. They’ll tell you the mop, the paper towels, and in my case, even the vacuum cleaner you’ll need to actually get your home clean. If that sounds like it’s over reaching-it’s not. My place is deeply clean and a musty odor that’s been in place since I moved in recedes a little each time they’re here. Plus they’re knowledgable decorators, often something is placed at a slightly different angle, or my bed is made a somewhat different way, which is always an improvement. They’re positively wise about these things.
Perhaps the most extraordinary difference is one you might ever see. Every one of their staff is salaried, eligible for benefits, and bonded/​insured. After very briefly using My Clean, a big and sloppy service, I learned that they gave their workers zero warning and paid them just $ 8 an hour. At Clean Home Clear Mind, you’re truly working with a thoughtful family-​run business that improves not only your home but the economy and community.

I can’t say enough good things about Maria, Don, and Co. They are extremely accommodating, friendly, efficient, and just good, honest people. They’ve been doing an excellent job since we started using them six months ago. Each time they leave, our apartment not only smells wonderful, but it’s left impeccably clean. They really do an excellent job, paying attention to details, are always on time, and they are extremely kind and delightful people as well. You can trust them in your home, and you can trust them to consistently deliver great results. These people don’t slack, and they work with the client to reschedule cleaning times when requested. They couldn’t be any more accommodating. It doesn’t get any better than Clean Homes Clear Minds. More than happy with the job they’ve done!

Maria and Don have been cleaning our rather vast apartment full of roommates for 5 months. The entire household has only the most positive things to say about them. Above all, they’re lovely, incredibly reliable, fast and thorough. Don works quiet miracles, making shamefully dirty refrigerator-​insides gleam, and Maria is like the Glenda of detail-​oriented cleaning. She manages to keep everything in its place and yet adds a new germ-​free sparkle to all that she touches!
Moreover, Maria, with whom you will likely communicate most, is unusually warm and friendly. She seriously has a way of making you feel well cared for even though she’s not meddlesome at all. (The lovely Christmas card might have done the trick? Smile.) She is also a model for clear, direct communication and responsible, advance planning. She and the team have been a joy to work with.
In sum, their team is 100% professional, thorough, and reliable. I (continue to) recommend them!!!

Maria, Don and their team have been cleaning my apartment for quite some time and I feel remiss to only be writing this review now.
In one word they are extraordinary.
I remember that my greatest concern with hiring a cleaning service was the safety, and security of my home and things. Maria and Don put my mind at ease on this the moment I met them. They were kind, and courteous and as delightful as could be and I immediately knew that this would be a good fit.
Now, well over a year later I can say that I have never had a single issue with any part of this service and, in fact they have repeatedly impressed me with their attention to detail, their prompt arrival and their adherence to using natural products (and stocking me up as well — often for free!).
I hope to continue my relationship with Maria and her wonderful team for many years to come!

Where to start? First was was the excellent response time from my initial query. Maria and Don scheduled time to meet at my apartment for a consultation, and to check out my digs. They were so nice and filled with positive energy — I knew instantly I made the right choice in a home improvement service … I say this instead of «cleaning» as I don’t believe that covers all the benefits of their services. They were so sweet with my rambunctious black lab puppy. They thoroughly went through their services, credentials, timing for first service, preferred items to have (vacuum cleaner, paper towels, Libman mop, etc.). I couldn’t wait for their first deep cleaning!
Unfortunately, a little storm called Sandy got in the way of the scheduled first cleaning (¹⁰⁄₂₉)… Maria and Don worked quickly to get my cleaning rescheduled — and they were able to come on Halloween (¹⁰⁄₃₁). Even with record-​setting BAD traffic, spotty cell phone service, they arrived promptly and got right to work. I was still working on picking up a couple things, unload/​re-​load dishwasher, etc. Maria and Don were both there along with two other women. I left my apartment with my dog to get out of their way. Normally, I would have been at work, but was at home due to Sandy.
A few hours later, I got a text they were almost finished. I was hoping to see them in person before they left, but realized text/​phone service was delayed — so got their text after they had departed. As soon as I got off the elevator, I was greeted with a warming citrus aroma. I walked to my door and was delighted to smell it was coming from MY apartment. My apartment had that sexy glow to it — like it was brand spanking new. Everything was clean, sparkly and best yet — it smelled AMAZING — not like yucky chemically-​laced cleaners that many people remarkably still use. And, as a nice little present, there was a Mrs. Meyer’s Bluebell dish washing liquid and counter cleaner spray they left for me. What a beautiful little surprise.
If you are looking for a reasonable priced service, with attentive personnel and products that will leave your apartment smelling and looking amazing — look no further!!!

Clean Home Clear Mind is great! Maria and Don are highly professional, and I truly appreciate their personalized and thorough approach. We have been working with Maria and Don for 5 years now and I cant say enough good things about them and their business. Maria and her team came to me after a strong recommendation from a couple of friends. They have been cleaning my apartment for about 2 years and I think their work is terrific. They arrive on time, clean the house, and are done within 1.5hours. Each cleaning person is in charge of an area of the house so that there is no confusion or overlap on assignments. Maria and Don are a couple’s best way to ensure a lasting, happy marriage. First, it took almost 2 years and a wrist injury for my husband to convince me to hire a cleaning service, because I’m a bit traditional that way. We chose Clean Home Clear Mind because (a) they’re a family owned, local small business and (b) they only use eco-​friendly cleaning supplies [my husband has asthma and other allergies]. They do a fabulous job cleaning our home. ‘Fabulous’ is defined as: use of eco-​friendly cleaning supplies so our home smells fresh and not clinical, everything is hand-​scrubbed like my mom or myself would do (actually even better), and they are consistent… show up regularly and do a consistently good /​detailed job. I’ve already recommended them to friends and others in my building who have hired them on permanently as well. Highly recommend them!
