We are a pop-​up art studio specializing in portfolio and audition prep for students seeking entrance into specialized arts middle schools and high schools in NYC.

We also specialize in small group art classes for children from tots to teens. Our classes are inspired by the ever-​changing art environment of galleries and other creative spaces for a truly immersive, artistic experience.

History

Established in 2014.

I founded Creative Space Arts in 2014 to offer a different kind of art studio, always changing and inspired by the immersive environment of galleries and other creative spaces. Through this approach, we aim to ignite curiosity and freedom of artistic expression.

Our talented and experienced art teachers inspire exploration, critical thinking, and life-​long learning through creativity and the arts. All of our instructors are certified in K-​12 Art Education so that we can provide challenging and engaging art experiences to kids of all ages, even in the same space!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I am currently the Arts Liaison and Performing Arts Coordinator at a public junior high school in Brooklyn, and I have taught visual arts there since 2002. During this time, I have guided countless students through the rigorous audition process of portfolio development, with many of my private students gaining acceptance and even scholarships into some of NYC’s most prestigious art schools.

Paper Creds: I received a B.F.A. with a concentration in drawing from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning, an M.Ed. from Xavier University, and an S.B.L. Certificate from the College of St. Rose.
