The guys there are friendly and laid back, seemed to know all their frequent customers. I was there at a time it wasn’t busy and nothing was being refilled or cleaned up at the counter. Place is a chill hangout but not clean vibes during my first visit.

This is my favorite spot to get my specific weirdly involved beverage. Everybody that works here is individually Entertaining and genuine. Consistency is key for me. Never had a messed up beverage. Quality coffee. They always have almond milk. Getting a free stamp on my card is something I always look forward to. Such a friendly neighborhood coffee spot. So glad to have it in my hood. You guys rule. Don’t ever leave.

Great little coffee shop with very little seating but if you can, the seating is great. A very nice cozy area by the store window you could relax and enjoy your coffee. Also there is a comfortable park bench right out front of the place. The coffee is really good and the service is top notch. I had something called cococano. It was exactly what I wanted. It was coconut water with espresso iced. It really was perfect after a large dinner my wife and I had at a local restaurant. She had a Macchiato as well which was really good. Great little place I would definitely come to again if in the area.

Really good coffee, reasonable prices– a large iced coffee is a true large, the barristas are super nice(they also like Iron Maiden) and they have a customer appreciation card. I went here for a month straight when I was working 4pm-3am in February at a nearby jobsite. They saved my life.

Really love this place. It’s my go to for coffee when I’m in the area. The main barista is super friendly and upbeat every time I’ve been here, as are all the employees I’ve ever come to meet. Highly recommend checking it out. Their iced lattes are by far the best. ;)

love this spot. there are so many regulars the guys at the counter know just about everyone in the hood and are super friendly. punch card is a great deal, buy 6 get your 7th on the house. trivia questions are fun and they have after dinner mints. not a sit down joint but big whoop, get a donut from around the corner and head to the park!

Sometimes I wish I lived in Greenpoint, but you know what? it makes it more worth the trip to get here. Upon the slushes of ice and snow, and the frigid arctic coldness of NYC. Comes a small cute café storefront called the«Cup» Now what is this Cup you might say? They provide affordable beverages, that are completely soothing and delights my taste buds! This place makes you feel welcomed, and customer service is amazing. I’m no coffee person, but I tried the Chai Latte and it’s perfect to the touch.

this adorable little green spot is my new fav neighborhood coffee stop. the service is always great. the dirty chai was delicious, only slightly sweet, just the way i like it. good tea selection too. i will agree with the others that the coffee/espresso drinks are slightly on the weak side. but maybe they will read these comments and change that. ;)

This is my new go-to coffee spot. I love it. Truth be told, it’s because a) the coffee is awesome and b) David is the best barista. As long as he’s making my coffee, I’ll be there every morning. They were even open during the«historic» blizzard of 2015! Love this place.

I wish every other latte and the chai latte tasted this good. Manager is truly nice to every customer. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely check this place out! I’m coming back.

Let’s start by saying I wish I could give cup six stars. Seriously. They’re really great. Stopped in here to get a hot beverage to warm up on a very cold day. This is a very unassuming place tucked away from the main drag. There’s no indoor seating except for a small nook by the window. I got my usual Americano, topped with a tad of steamed skim milk and my mom grabbed a tea. My Americano had an incredible flavor was piping hot and in short was exactly what I needed on a super cold day. My mom got a cup of tea which was far superior to other coffee and tea shops. What really sets this place’s tea game apart from others’ is the fact that they have a nice selection of different and delicious loose leaf teas which they personally pack into sleeves. Our batista was incredibly friendly and helpful even cracking a few jokes.

My favorite coffee spot when on the go. Only downside is that they only take cash. The service is amazing though!

I would give five stars for their staff and service, but the coffee was not really that good. Wide selection of good tea.

Living around the neighborhood I would walk pass this coffee spot every single day on my way to the subway station. Never got the chance to try until recently and is now my daily go to spot for a cup of coffee. As almost everyone has said, the staff is very welcoming and alway’s prepare my coffee extremely quickly. The vibe is really cool and the coffee itself is fairly good. Worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood.

My go to iced coffee spot in the hood. The large is actually a large size and not some small cup bull sh** they are trying to pass off as a large. Staff is friendly and talkative. I’ve gotten caught up there in convo a few times.

I’ve been a CUP customer for 1.5 years and I was shocked by the service I received this morning. The 2 gentlemen that usually work there are pleasant and nice to see in the morning before caffeine has entered my veins. This morning one the ladies(which I have never been served by) had a pretentious and more than anything uninviting demeanor. I was very disappointed with it since I usually enjoy my Saturday morning latte/cappuccino at CUP. I won’t take away stars for the quality of the coffee because today’s was just as good as always but clean it up on the customer service. A neighborhood coffee shop should feel like an extension of your kitchen.

Delicious iced latte on a hot weekend day on my little saunter through Greenpoint. I even got the trivia question right so I got a discount on the drink. It’s a small little spot and the green color outside is sure to turn you envious if you don’t partake in the offerings.

Really great coffee. Wish I could afford to go here more often, but the coffee’s worth the price. The people who work here are friendly if a bit distracted. There’s no food here, just coffee and some tiny pastry bites. The Cup card where you get a free drink after only 6 coffees is great, too. Try the iced mocha, it’s awesome.

I’ve been trying to find a good cheap breakfast stop in Greenpoint, so I try a new place every day. Unfortunately, Cup is not the place. The coffee was okay, the service was good and prompt. Of course, there was no one in there when we first showed up, then they flooded in after us. The pastries were definitely lacking. The almond croissant was old and dry and just all around not very good. This place is nothing more than a coffee and tea stop. Do not expect more than that. I think it’s good place to stop for okay coffee or tea but not if you want breakfast. Cash Only!
