Established in 2004.

dabney lee started as a wholesale stationery company and sells her line to over 2,000 stores world wide. aways based in dumbo-​brooklyn, dabney decided to open a retail shop in september 2012 to showcase her designs and bring a fabulous gift and card store to dumbo.

dabney licenses her designs to different companies including caspari, mariposa, sabre and more.

dabney lee woglom is a true prepster in a hip world. born and raised in southern california, she moved to new york with the love of her life in two thousand four, where she combined her love for lucite, bright colors, fashion, interior design and paper to create her line of personalized stationery and gifts. starting small in her very own apartment she grew into a studio space and then in 2012 opened her first retail shop!

I placed an order for custom business cards and never received them. I was emailed 2 mock-​ups, had an in-​person meeting with Dabney to discuss the design of the card and they were very accommodating every step of the way. I followed up a few times via email and voicemail to check on the status of the cards and received no response. After about 6 weeks I gave up and asked for a refund via voicemail. They promptly refunded me and I received an apology from the sales assoc, but I never received an explanation for why my biz cards were never made.

OMG this place is super cute!!! staff seemed friendly. they have SUPER cute pens, stationary, kitchen ware (although it seems more for kids, but cute). they have home décor like cute animal heads to place on the walls. it’s just a very cute store with lots of things to look at. i think they also personalize things (but i’m sure you’d have to order in advance)

I’m giving this place two stars instead of one since I love everything they sell. It’s all super cute. The problem is I’ve had terrible customer service every time I’ve been in. I’ve either been ignored or made to feel like I’m bothering them. Seriously? It’s super close to my work & I’d rather spend my money at a local business but now I just head over to west elm marketplace.

Phenomenal experience! I strolled into the store on a Sunday afternoon and casually chatted with Dabney (herself!) about my wedding invite design, which I was having trouble finalizing on my own. Dabney jumped right in… was incredibly generous with her time… and within an hour, I’d finetuned my invite and was ready to print. She turned around a quote in under 48 hours to boot!
If you’re just getting started or having trouble finalizing… Dabney is your woman!

I like this store a lot, but I had some really bad customer service today. I understand the store is pricey, but the label on something said $ 2 and the woman charged me almost twice that, and was pretty rude when I pointed it out «The register says $ 3.50, do you want it or not?»
I bought it anyway since I had been looking at putting a few things together, but she could have at least been a bit nicer or accommodating — it wasn’t a lot of money but sort of a bummer — also she seemed to be rushing me out of the store, which I understand to some degree — it was already nearly 6– but I was pretty polite and not dawdling or anything. I also saw her being snippy with someone else. The store is pricey and nice, I don’t understand the need to be rude when there are only a few people in the store and we’re spending money. Most of the time I’ve had good service here.

Dabney Lee was AMAZING to work with for our wedding invitations. She helped guide us through every decision, giving me fabulous options and customizing them along the way. She returned every email and call in a timely manner which was SO appreciated. She worked with our budget, showing us many different options that we were able to choose from. The staff was wonderful– all very friendly and genuinely excited for the decisions. We absolutely loved the outcome, couldn’t be happier, and can’t wait to mail them out! I would recommend Dabney Lee to everyone! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

i love love love this store. they have the most amazingly designed stationery, paper goods and customizable items. every time i come here i find at least 5 things i HAVE to have.
the store is filled with bright, super colorful, unique paper goods that make sending them as much fun as it is to receive them in the mail /​as a gift.

What a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. They sell all sorts of unique gifts as well as cards, wrapping paper etc. I’ve picked up something for a friend hosting a dinner party, a gift for my friend’s son’s 1st b’day, a custom iphone case for myself amongst other things. Really cute store and the staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend you stop by if you’re in the area.

I’ve been a Dabney Lee customer for years and have always been thrilled. Now that Dabney Lee has opened her own ADORABLE boutique in the heart of DUMBO I’m even happier. First, this is the perfect place to shop for gifts of all sort. I’ve purchased gifts for everyone on my gift lists here. From kids’ gifts, hostess gifts, housewarming gifts, and of course… gifts for myself! Additionally, Dabney Lee is known for her gorgeous custom stationary and invitations. The quality is truly perfection. I won’t use any other company. Also – the customer service is truly top notch. I’ve always received one-​on-​one attention, things are completed on time, and my orders are always perfect.

Felt like my own personal graphic designer tending to my every need here. I love their store and products. The minute you walk in, you feel inspired to get creative and personalize something, I went in looking for stationary for my new baby boy and left having ordered custom stationary for myself, my business and a friend as a gift. I also ordered custom plates (yes, dinnerware) for a work event I was planning and jewelry. I highly recommend this store if you’re in need of gifts and ideas for what to give, the ideas are endless here!
What really impressed me was the customer service. The order for my dinner plates came in and there was a mistake on them (Not Dabney Lee’s fault). Seeing my concern, Dabney had them re-​ordered (at no extra expense to me) and because I needed them for a work event the next week the staff literally jumped into the UPS van to find them when they arrived before personally delivering them to my event just in time.
Be sure to allow time for everything to be made — it’s custom so it can take a few weeks — but it’s completely worth it!

Super cute stationary/​print shop that just opened up in Dumbo! they have a million cute things like «25 ways to cure a hangover», a billion cute pens and postcards and cute stationary things and in the back is a print/​design office where they will actually help design your personal greeting cards/​invitations/​business cards or even iphone case.
Needless to say I can see myself spending like a million hours and a bajillion dollars in here on knick knacks and pens!
