Before I go out for the night or once the night has ended I’ll usually skip the diner and head here. They just make really good sandwiches that always hit the spot. The guys are friendly. It can get backed up sometimes during peak hours(morning rush, late night bar crowd) but they do a good job of moving people along. My go to spot when I need something good to go. And if you’ve never tried their chicken ridiculous you’re missing out. Just Make sure you schedule a gym session you’re gonna need it after that sandwich.

They make a great sandwich. They don’t skimp on the cold cuts, and they have solid bagels. The French Toast bagel is really good and almost rivals the French toast bagel at Bagel Schmagel. They have a great variety and are fairly priced. My new go to place for bagels.

My boyfriend introduced me to this place and I’ve been addicted ever since! When you’re in the mood for a filling breakfast, this is your spot.

Always was a big fan of this bagel store. The chicken ridiculous is my favorite sandwich… BUT after all these years it bothers me that you cant come here for a salad. I work at a hospital nearby and plenty of the workers would come for a salad. They can have the salads pre-made like other bagel stores do. with the basics. lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion etc… and let the customers add the chicken(or whatever) of their choice & a packaged dressing. A simple healthy option.

I’ve frequented this place for many years with tons of great sandwiches and bagels, but within the past year or so it’s taken a dive in quality. I see the signs about the increase in prices due to eggs rising in cost, but that doesn’t concern me as much, .75c when you figure the average breakfast sandwich is already going to cost you $ 4 – 5 isn’t the end of the world. But when you get home to crack it open and find a kaiser roll with barely one egg and a single slice of ham, you have to wonder why you just paid extra. I don’t know if it’s financial difficulty or the staff just half-assing it, but the last order I got is going to be the last for awhile. I don’t mind the staff being a little less than courteous, and I don’t mind the crowds, but if I’m going to get aggravated as well as wait on line, and pay extra for a sandwich, it should at least be worth the time, price and hassle. To add insult to injury, the ice coffee was more ice than coffee, and that wasn’t cheap either. Time to take my business elsewhere.

I’ve been a customer here for 15 years. I would argue they have the best bagels in Brooklyn. The chicken ridiculous sandwich is on point, customer service is fast! Prices are competitive, all food is delicious.

24⁄7 is it’s game, quality is it’s name. I come here while I’m volunteering nearby at BRAVO. Whether it’s getting a bagel with cream cheese that overflows like the yellow River or a cold cut sandwich that fills up the stomach like the Hoover dam, you can expect good stuff from this place. All the sandwiches are decently priced, service is prompt, and people are friendly. Just find out who’s in line and who’s not and filter out the crazy by placing your order. Whenever we at ambulance base are hungry or need that caffeine hit, Dyker bagels is the first spot we think of.

Extremly rude and belligerent staff especially the guy that works graveyard shift with the tattoos and piercings. Moves around and walks like a turtle. He also doesn’t acknowledge anyone, he just stands there with his world series game 7 face. Chop chop you’re slower than molasses!

I was dying one morning because I was running late to work. I didn’t eat — I didn’t pack lunch and I was starving. I double parked and ran into this place. As others have mentioned, there is no order as to who is next in line. I ordered a plain bagel with egg and American cheese and it came out to $ 3.75. Seriously? They have a sign by the cashier that due to the increase in the price of eggs, every egg sandwich will get charged an extra $ 0.75. Okay, I understand that, but paying almost $ 4 for an egg sandwich without meat had me a little surprised. The bagel was okay; nothing I would go outta my way for though. It was great for the convenience, but that was pretty much it.

I’ve been going to Dyker Bagels since I was a kid. Always my go to stop for bagels and coffee. Breakfast sandwiches are so tasty and huge amounts of cream cheese on your bagels is so delicious. I recently tried the famous chicken ridiculous and it was amazing.

They have been here for a long time, they are open 24/7, the counter staff are professionals(seriously!!), the place is always super clean, this is just a great solid Brooklyn bagels place! If I had a bagel shop of my own, I would aspire to run it as well as these people do. Obviously, I recommend this spot highly.

The bagel wasn’t hot, so maybe that’s why the sign outside doesn’t mention it, though I would be very satisfied w/a 3am bagel from here. Complete chaos on the line with no regard by staff or customers to who arrived first, an only-locals-matter attitude, but very good sesame bagel for $ 0.95.

Bagels are delicious and the same goes for the assortment of cream cheeses, but the staff workers carry around attitudes, which causes for long lines and smirk remarks. Unless you are upfront and want a bagel that instant, walk on to somewhere else.

If I’m hungry and its late and I don’t know what to get, I usually come here. There bagels are always fresh and their open 24⁄7. If your from the neighborhood you know theirs a line on weekend nights so try and beat that club and bar crowd lol. Number one sandwich here is the original chicken ridiculous(chicken cutlet, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, bacon on an everything bagel). A must have !!!

I recently started a rotation at an institution nearby and was Unilocaling for good food around the area. I was really captivated by the Chicken Ridiculous so I decided to try out Dyker Park Bagels. What I noticed immediately when I walked in is that the service is definitely less than stellar… Now I know that Dyker Heights is mainly an Italian community and that Italian servers can be a little rough around the edges but the service here was definitely not good. The guy that took my order had a pissed off face the whole time and seemed rather nonchalant. Another guy that works there seemed a little nicer. I ordered the Chicken Ridiculous on an everything bagel($ 7.50) and it came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, tomato, bacon, lettuce, and mayo. What I noticed when I ordered it was that the guy took the sandwich out of the fridge and just microwaved it for a minute so it is definitely pre-made(but for how long??? that is the question…) It definitely was a big portion and it did taste good, but it seems like a sandwich that I can easily make at home for a fraction of the price. I have to admit though, I thought the everything bagel was delicious! Overall, I didn’t like the service here at Dyker Park Bagels and I did not find anything particularly special about the Chicken Ridiculous. However, it is worth a try if you’re in the area.

My favorite bagels in Brooklyn. I grew up in Long Island where good bagels are everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. I realized very quickly that finding a good bagel in Brooklyn was not so easy. Dyker Park DEF wins my vote on amazing bagels! They have Boars Head cold cuts, yummy egg and white fish salad and delish iced coffee. I took one star off because the Sunday morning staff can sometimes be a bit cranky!

This deli has been here for years, is 24/7, and its bagels are RIGHTEOUS. There is nothing NOT Brooklyn about this place – Brooklyn accents, smiling faces, and bagels stacked with a mountain of cream cheese. I have come here many late nights, groggy early mornings, and midday monstrous cravings to order a sandwich, with options beyond your imagination. Cold cuts piled high? You got it. A bagel with 4 servings of cream cheese? It’s yours. You name it! The prices are a little steeper than other bagel joints, but that’s the only downside. There’s many bagel stores in Brooklyn, but this is my favorite.

MAINPOINTS: CASHONLY. No sit down tables inside. If you ask them to warm up your mozzarella sticks they will be microwaved. The reason I come to this place is for there chicken ridiculous which is my four star rating!!! This hero or roll(I get it on a hero) comes with chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, tomato, lettuce, bacon, vinegar, optional mayo! Its the most filling amazing hero! Almost impossible to consume the whole hero in one siting alone. Customer service is really nice! They are very helpful! Other than the chicken ridiculous the mozzarella sticks are average wouldn’t buy them again!

This Brooklyn Bagel store near the Verranzano bridge satisfies my Brooklyn Bagel craving. Lovely, well done bagels and alot of variety. Egg/onion– yum. Went with the egg onion and took a salted bagel to go. The store is down the block from my BayRidge Animal Clinic and is a busy store. The counter person smeared my bagel with the most generous smear ever… loved that. The bagels here have a good crunch and flavor… Brooklyn. Bagel Love!

This bagel store is always busy. But the employees work quickly and are always friendly too. The prices are a bit high though for bagels and cream cheese these days, so i don’t pop in here unless the occasion calls for it, such as a grueling road trip or on a hangover, or even before the hangover begins. Convenient location right before heading to the bridge or coming home from the city.
