I would highly recommend this store to anyone who wants to quickly improve their vision without surgery. On my first visit, Doctor Diana Nguyen and her staff were very welcoming. Some of the staff shared their experience that they had with Ortho-​K, and they were very patient with my questions. It was a major shock to hear how quickly my vision had worsened, but Dr. Nguyen quickly created a very personalized follow-​up appointment and decided that I should start on Ortho-​K lenses immediately. As I was learning to use the lenses, the staff were very patient and answered the many questions I had without hesitation. On my second appointment one day later, I felt as comfortable as I had the first time. Upon learning that my vision improved with a night of wearing the Ortho-​K lenses, Dr. Nguyen optimistically gave me several pairs of soft contact lenses to use daily in case my vision improved further. Her enthusiasm at my progress really helped relieve my intense skepticism about the procedure working and it gave me the confidence to continue wearing the Ortho-​K lenses. Again, I would definitely recommend Eye D to anyone who’s willing to try out Ortho-​K. The staff and doctors are extremely nice and welcoming, every appointment is extremely personalized, and best of all, the procedure works!

Dropped by for a comprehensive eye exam. Called in to make an appointment, used my copay for the exam. Quick and easy to the point. In and out in about 15 minutes. Doctor and staff were very nice and helpful. Will be back!

Great doctor and great staff. Their prices are so much more reasonable than other places in Brooklyn and Manhattan. They’re also very honest about what looks good on you or what doesn’t work for your face shape, which I love.

What a terrible experience to be had… Made an appt for 10:30am, they even confirmed it twice and… Nobody showed up for work today. My son and I waited from 10:20 to 10:40am… Before just saying «this place sucks! And left».

Receptionists were great. Excellent service. Easy to sched. appointment. I was here for a regular eye examination but they lose a star because prior to my contact lens fitting the doctor did not tell me that there was an extra fee for that service.

Was looking for a highly reviewed optometrist on Unilocal and found Eye D Vision Optical. Made an appointment the night prior to visit and got an eyeglass + contact lens prescription.
Everyone there is knowledgable, nice, and patient. And they’ll address all your questions and/​or concerns. There’s also no rushing you or long waits (I think they take appointments only).
Prices there are fair and they match prices with a 1 – 800 website on the contact lenses. No pressure sales also. Take cash and credit cards.
Will be my new eye care provider. :)

This is review is for the Sunset Park location. Dr. Nguyen and staff were professional and helpful. Dr. Nguyen was thorough and provided detailed information during the eye exams my daughter and I had last week. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable when working on insurance and payment. Our contact lens orders were filled and delivered within a couple of days. Great optical center!

Knowledgeable and super friendly doctors and office support staff! I snagged a great pair of RayBans within my insurance’s frame allowance. Don’t waste your time going to a major retailer where the prices are outrageous. I highly recommend this place!

Beyond amazing service! Dr. Nguyen was so patient and great with my kids, and I have the squirming kind. They had a nice selection of glasses to choose from which was good since we are a very picky family. Overall we had a wonderful experience! They also went above and beyond to help assist in adjusting and repairing my other glasses. Two thumbs up!!! Can’t get better than that.

This place is amazing ! Both girls and dr. sun were super nice, patient and not pushy at all ! They gave me free samples too. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here.

Excellent Service!
Everyone there is super nice and professional! The eye doctor even plucked my eyelashes for me, which was an incredibly nervewrecking experience, but she was very patient and kind about it. The glasses are standard 2 – 400 dollar pricing.

The staff provided great service during each of my visits. The doctor did not rush the exam and anwered all my questions. Overall great experience!

Update:
I returned 1 year later to get two more pairs of glasses. When I walked in, the lady at the desk remembered me by name, and she remembered the two pairs of glasses that I purchased during my 1^st visit. I was floored. I’ll definitely be back next January to get 2 new pairs. Love, love, love this place.

This place is amazing. I needed to get new glasses and contact lens. I haven’t been to the eye doctor in long time so I was anxious about finding the right place .
This place is amazing the staff was super nice and helpful. I looked at so many different frames and they didn’t try to push and they just geniunely super nice.
They also helped me a lot of contact lens cause I am Hella flinchy they were super calm and helped me do it the right way .
The doctor John was super helpful too he was really nice and patient even though I can’t closing my eyes.

I don’t normally post on Unilocal,but with my recent experience here, this is the least I could do to express my thanks and to spread the word about Eye D Vision.
It was that time of year again. Yes, Christmas, but for me, annual eye check up and ordering another year’s supply of contact lenses. On top of that, I had broken my glasses by trying to take them off dramatically like they do in commercials. For the past few years I had been going to a chain place at 8^th Ave and while it wasn’t a bad experience, there wasn’t much to keep me going there.
Sunday before Christmas week, I made a visit with my mother as a walk-​in. Right away the people at the front desk greeted us, all smiles. Love that! Everything was neatly laid out, well lit and spacious enough for a comfortable browsing. Within minutes after filling out some information, I was brought into the exam room. The equipment and room were clean, the doctor was friendly, made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole exam, which I felt went beyond just checking the standard stuff.
When it came time for picking frames, the girl up front gave her earnest opinion on which frames worked for my face and which didn’t. She was so sweet and so patient! They had a student discount available, had my contacts in stock the same day and had my glasses ready for pick up in just two days. I got the feeling that they really appreciate their customers and that was the thing I realized was missing from my experience elsewhere. Eye D Vision is a keeper in my book.
