After reading the Unilocal reviews about this jewelry buying company I gathered the battered and damaged gold and silver jewelry that I have had sitting around for sometime. I would like to note that I did not price my jewelry at any other shops so I can not honestly say that I got the best price.
When I arrived I was greeted by Ron who was very friendly. He introduced me to his co-​worker Steve and then he assessed the jewelry that I had. Once I realized that selling only the gold would be beneficial for me I inquired about their repair services. Ron offered to repair the silver jewelry that I had (2 bracelets and 1 set of earrings) free of charge but he was unsure about how long it would take. Of course I took him up on the offer.
Fast forward about a month afterwards I call inquiring about my jewelry and the person I spoke to was clearly not Ron because they were not very friendly. I was told that my jewelry was not ready and he did not give a date when it would be.
However, after posting a similar review on Google I was contacted by Steven and told that my jewelry was ready for pick up. Yay!

Very nice gentleman that helped me here. I was trying to sell jewelry and he gave me a better price than the other jewelry stores I went to. Also they have discounted items right now if anyone is looking to buy a ring. I wouldn’t mind coming here again. Overall, I had a pleasant and accomodating experience.

Went to GGS to sell some scrap gold and silver that I had laying around my house. Chose this place based on all of the positive Unilocal reviews. When I got there I was introduced to Ron, who was extremely friendly and personable. He immediately offered me something to drink and asked to see what I wanted to sell. He separated the gold jewelry into the different karats based on a nitric acid test which was cool to watch. He then weighed the gold and told me how much I had in grams and pennyweights. We had a slight disagreement at the beginning of the transaction, but was quick and eager to rectify the matter. I am completely impressed with their professionalism and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

I was there yesterday, upon entering we were treated with respect and a genuine interest on what we had to sell. They were honest and took out the time to show us how they test the jewelry. I had recently taken a diamond ring to another jeweler on Long Island he offered a couple of hundred I was not satisfied. I took the ring back and brought it to Global Gold and Silver. They really took care of me, they were quite generous. They now have a customer for life! I highly recommend them.

These other reviews don’t lie. This was the *BEST* service I’ve ever received at a jewelry store. We went in with a box of misc. gold and silver jewelry to sell, and were pleasantly surprised to sit down for over an hour with the owner as he tested each piece and sorted it.
I would go back here in a heartbeat to sell jewelry again, and I’ll definitely be going back to Global Gold & Silver for future jewelry repairs and any diamond jewelry in the future!

After three generations in our family, our silver tea set was taking up too much room, as we were downsizing our house, and our children did not want it. To the rescue came Steve of Global Gold & Silver. He and his partner handled our cherished possessions with care, testing and evaluating them, explaining the process step by step, and giving us a fair price for our family treasure. Thanks to Unilocal once again, I decided it was high time to hand in my scrap gold and cash out.
Adam and Ron were incredibly personable, honest, and professional. They said they would offer me a competitive price on my 14kt and 18kt gold, and they most certainly did. Amongst my hoard was broken bracelets, necklaces, and rings that I either had no emotional attachment to, or were too small for me to wear. $ 525 is alot of money to be sitting around in a bottom drawer in your room, when you could spend it on something else you need… like really need!
Adam explained the process, and did ask to see my driver’s license, which is a requirement. He weighed my gold in pennyweight, and for what I gave, I feel very confident to return in the near future. Thank you for making what could have been a very stressful experience, a most pleasant one!

The store is very welcoming and has really hot items — I had to take a picture of one of the emerald rings I saw. They have really nice stuff.

Amazing service, extremely nice and very professional! I went in to sell some gold based on reviews here, I have never had experience selling gold and was expecting something different. The salesman was extremely helpful, even gave me some information on what I was selling which I found interesting.

Oshri (the owner I think), was so patient with me I feel like I am obligated to invite him to my wedding.
