I was recommended to come here from my aunt because her and my family have been using this jewelry store for years. I love Alex and Ani bracelets and they carry a huge section of them here. The sales woman I had I forgot her name was very helpful. I must have had her open so many different things to show me the bracelets but she did it and wasn’t rude at all. I bought a few bracelets from here and I would defiantly come back.

One star because of the sales woman, Matilda. Just walking in she jumped at me with a nasty tone. Surrounded me as I was picking out a Loki bracelet like I’m going to do something with it. Overall, I ended up switching bracelets and she had the audacity to say in a nasty tone, «What’s the difference.» Well let me tell you what the difference is lady, a sale for you. I don’t even think I want to step foot in there anymore.

They a rip off, they sold me a large cut diamond like it was a high quality diamond! This was discover when me and my wife (at the time I buy the ring she was my fiancé) visit one of my dad’s jewelry friends and he found that this diamond don’t work near 1000 dollars and they charge us near 4k they are rip off careful

Everytime I come here to Malsons it is nothing but a pleasure! Everyone is always so pleasant and helping. It is also very accommodating! I highly recommend this jewelry store!

Why 3 stars? Well, they do have a nice selection of Alex and Ani, which is why I go there, but some of the workers are rude. Not all of them, but some of them act like its a chore to open the display case to show you the jewelry. The last time I was there I wanted an Alex and Ani bracelet and the woman expected me to pick one out through the glass showcase. I mean who really buys jewelry like that? It was busy and there were other people standing there that wanted the display opened as well, so a male worker came over and opened it for us. Is it wrong to assume that if you work at a jewelry store that part of your job would be to actually open a display case? I really think if you accept a job at a jewelry store you should be willing to open a display case at the very least.

Rude! I called the lady to get my watch battery changed and she said that they should be free in ten minutes. When I got there she said I needed to wait 30 minutes to SIMPLY get my battery changed. She was obnoxious on the phone but I decided to give it a second chance and she was even more rude in person. Will not go back.

I don’t understand how people can say anything bad about this place ! The staff is literally some of the sweetest people, always willing to help and take time to have you try on the things before you buy them and ask you how they you think there doing. I always buy my alex and ani accessories from there. Great place in bayridge

Talk about stuck up. Very snooty and rude. I’ve gone to them twice now at their new store and both times two different people were completely nasty and couldn’t wait to get my out the door. I used to go to them when they were still Barrington jewelers two doors down from where they are now, for years. Now they think they have a bigger place and a better selection, they can talk to you how ever they want to. Please! Never again.

Malsons Jewelers both in Bay Ridge and Kings Plaza are fantastic stores. The personalized service you receive is top notch, and the variety of product keeps you coming back for more. Malsons is not just a great place to shop, the owner, Morris really understands how to be part of a community. He is always taking part in and supportive of community events.

I went here previously to have a stone put in my ring and the service was great at that time.
I went here last week to get my college class ring sized down from a 9.5 to a 7. When I received the ring back, the black antique enamel finish was missing from both the outside of the ring and the inside of the ring. Furthermore, my name which was engraved in the ring was gone as well. Nobody ever called to tell me this would happen, nobody bothered to say anything. When I saw the enamel missing they acted like it was no big deal an didn’t care that I was upset. This is my college ring that has a huge sentimental value to me. I lost over 130 lbs and wanted the ring resized to fit my small hands. You would think they would treat my item with care and they did not. Now, the item needs to be sent off to Manhattan to be fixed and I only hope and pray it doesn’t come back a huge mess. I would never trust them to fix my ring or any other item again.
