I’m writing this review as a client after having assisted Jessica on a few of her newborn shoots. Jessica and I met while working in the fashion industry and she started her business during that time. I knew then she would excel at photography. When we found out we were expecting I immediately wanted Jessica to capture our little girls photos after having seen her process behind the scenes.
Jessica is very professional in all she does. She arrived at our home with her assistant on time and began to set up her equipment. Because these are newborn sleeping photos she made sure our baby was nice and cozy and slept through the entire session using her special tricks! She made sure not only the baby was comfortable but that I was as well. She pays attention to the little details and came with many options for props and backgrounds. She was able to get many different shots/​positions. Needless to say our session was very easy going!
Post session; Jessica was very informative on her turnaround time for the edited shots and when they would arrive by mail. She was able to provide one Christmas photo for our holiday card and everyone was in love! A few weeks later we received a beautifully wrapped packaged with our baby’s photo on it (which I’m now using as keepsake box). Inside we received a personalized USB & 3 accordion books with selected photos so we may gift them if we’d like. Even the added thank you note made it extra special! We truly appreciate the talent and creative Jessica is and how beautifully she captured our Amelia. It is definitely a momento we will have forever!

Jessica is great! She came recommended to me by a friend and she did not dissapoint. We did a maternity & newborn shoot with her. She is very patient and easy going during both shoots especially the newborn one. Newborns are hard to manage let alone do a photoshoot with and Jessica and her assistant kept her calm and quiet. They came to our home and brought everything needed and more for outfit changes and props. You should definitely choose Jessica Elbar Photography to do your little ones photos.

I really can’t express how happy we are with the photos that Jessica took! We chose to work with her after getting a referral from some close friends and were very impressed with her work. Her photos are adorable and she really comes prepared with several backgrounds and accessories that make the photos unique. She was with all us for over 4 hours and was extremely patient when our little girl was cranky or needed a bathroom «break». We ended up with over close to a dozen different adorable poses and the photo quality it excellent. Regarding price, I found Jessica to be very fair and we ended up with all the digital files of the photos, 3 accordion books and a personalized USB drive. We would highly recommend her!

Jessica came to our apartment to do a newborn photo session and I would highly recommend the overall experience. My wife was especially happy with how patient she was when our daughter was fussy and how she was very calm with her, making the shoot an overall great experience for both of us. Jessica is very sweet, has great props, and worked great with my baby. She’s new to the industry so I think she is still learning positions, angles, etc. Would have liked more attention to detail, editing of photos (color, contrast), and to have received a flash drive instead of a CD. All in all, pleased with the money I paid and how quick she was available.

Jessica is a professional and experienced photographer. I hired her to shoot my sons 3^rd birthday pictures. They came out amazing! Jessica brought a lot of energy, spunk and patience to the shoot. Getting a toddler/​little kid to cooperate for a picture is quite the challenge, but Jessica was very patient and she was willing to do whatever it took to capture the perfect shot… and she was very successful in doing so.
