KA is absolutely AWFUL to work with! She was very fake nice up front and then a raging you know what after the dress was paid for. She wasn’t willing to meet in the city to drop off a dress when she has a shop here! Instead, she said we had to pay for shipping or meet at her apartment in Brooklyn??? Also, the dress looks like something I could’ve gotten for $ 200 less, at least. I would not even recommend her to someone I didn’t even like.

Our bride decided to go with KA bridesmaid dresses for her wedding because they were cute and customizable — everyone could choose their own cut. KA is also located right in NYC, which made it convenient for everyone. However, the entire experience was a nightmare and very unprofessional. When I went for my fitting and to select my dress the woman that came to help us also brought her boyfriend. Therefore, I was walking around half naked trying on dresses, getting zipped, etc… while this random guy was hanging around. Very creepy. Once we put in our order(mind you it was only 3 bridesmaid dresses and a 2nd «night-out» dress for the bride that matched), they sent the wrong dresses to the wrong girls. Therefore, it was our responsibility to exchange dresses, despite that we already paid for S&H. We could have gotten past this(mistakes happen), but once we all got our own dresses, they sent the wrong dress to the bride! Also every time we called them whomever we spoke to had no idea what was going on. They were completely ditsy. KA needs to get some better associates or she will continue to lose business. Even after all of the dresses were sorted out and at their appropriate locations, they weren’t anything like the samples we tried on and they were all the wrong size and cut poorly. What is the point of taking measurements if none of the dresses came close to fitting? We traveled from New Orleans and Connecticut to come to that store and it was pointless. Three of the dresses were humongous(all needing alterations — money out of our own pockets), and one of the dresses was so abnormally small(despite being the same«size» as one of the other dresses) that the bridesmaid had to go on a crash diet to get it closed. Even at the wedding, we were constantly shifting the dressing or fixing something. The sashes on the girls weren’t the same size. Mine was extra long, which made the bow on mine look larger than the other girls. The lining on the top of my dress kept sticking out around the bust, so I had to keep adjusting and tucking in all night. In closure, everything from the customer service(they seemed like they had no idea what was going on) to the actual quality of the dresses was a disappointment. In the end we all looked beautiful and the bride had a great day, but it caused her quite a headache throughout the process. I wouldn’t recommend them, especially if you have a large party.
