I’ve had delivery from Kiku many times. Usually the food is fair to good. My one star review is for the quality of the delivery staff. The last few times I’ve ordered the guy just about drops the bag at your feet, grabs the money from your hands, grunts, and walks away. This is after he receives a decent tip for his efforts. Is it that hard to find a guy who can deliver food and be civil at the same time?

Kiku is ok but it’s not great. I have ordered some of the basic sushi rolls like crunchy spicy tuna or shrimp tempura and I was disappointed. Some of the more expensive rolls are better. Another local place, good for take out, no space to eat there.

I love this place. The people who work there are so nice. I come in for takeout all the time and they always know to put my extra soy sauce in the bag. The sushi is good, always pretty fresh. Really good for he price. Always really fast delivery too. Yay Kiku!

The sushi had minimal fish in it, and the fish it did have was rubbery and slimy, like the throwaway pieces. And it tasted artificial.

Love this spot! It’s my go-to for quick delivery or after-work pick up sushi. Always fresh, fast and inexpensive. Absolutely worth the money. Delicious.

Great place, wonderful sushi. The lunch specials are amazing and the service is great. I ordered the roll lunch special and got great quality for a good price.

The plating and presentation was excellent. The fish had a clean, light taste. Barely there. I happen to like light-sodium soy sauce because it is just a little sweeter side. I wish I had asked for some. I also wish I had asked for more ginger. There didn’t seem to be enough for all the variety in our order. Their rice seemed a little odd to me. Slightly chewy and dried out. It took me a while to realize there was any rice vinegar. At first I thought it was strange how they gave me green tea with a ceramic soup spoon of orange blossom honey. At least, that’s what I think it was. I’ve never sweetened green tea before. I tried it. I liked it. Just the right kind of bittersweet.

Never again. Unacceptable and inedible. Granted, this is a delivery review, but I live a couple blocks away and the service was very fast so it’s not like it was carted all over town first. Fish(yellowtail, salmon, tuna) was glassy and dry, with a sort of oil-slick sheen to it. Rice was barely covering rolls. Tiniest drop of wasabi ever. Had the dregs of the ginger jar. Eel was good, as was gyoza. And as mentioned, delivery was fast. I thought sushi chefs were supposed to take pride in their work, even delivery orders. By pawning off old fish in a half-assed manner, you have ensured that we will never patronize your restaurant again. Well done.

Honey I am in sushi heaven!!! WOW! The flavors of their sushi is explosive. Very amazing for a tiny little sushi dive in Park Slope. I was just in Brooklyn driving by but started craving sushi soooo much. And looked this place up. If this place was right by me Id probably be here 2 or 3 times a week. And the lady that took my order was such a sweetheart. Great takeout/delivery sushi spot

Lovely quiet little sushi joint in Park Slope. Stopped off here on a solo stroll around the area, and needed a bite to eat. It was hot out, and Kiku provided a divine oasis. Great, chilled music, attentive service, delicious food. Perfect place for a quiet meal, either solo or with company. If I find myself back in the area I’s go back for sure.

I’m guessing this is a place you go and sit down at rather than get delivery. Or maybe they had a better delivery guy in the other reviews. The food was okay(the rice had some really dry, hard parts, the miso was bland, and the katsu was okay), but the delivery guy was horrible! He called, he said he had my food, so I told him my apartment number and that I would buzz him up. I buzzed him in and waited and there was nothing. So I figured he probably had the wrong address, I called him back, he was saying some other things, but I couldn’t quite understand. He had an accent, but it was more the loud noises on the street that made it hard to hear him. So then, he calls back, I ask him if he needs to be buzzed in, he says yes. he rang the bell, I buzzed him in and he comes upstairs, angry and yells ‘I have a car!’ which basically meant he wanted me to go down the stairs and meet him. Excuse me? I tipped a little over 20% because I know that it sucks to deliver up a walk up, especially if riding a bike, but this guy DROVE! I told him, I didn’t understand him on the phone, and he kept yelling, so I told him bye and closed the door on his face. Are you kidding me?!! If I didn’t close the door, he probably would’ve ended up getting his nuts kicked. Never again, never again.

I’ve visited here 2 times for lunch and I have to say this a very good value for delicious sushi. The spicy tuna rolls are my favorite and the misu soup is one of the best I’ve had in Brooklyn.

Decently speedy delivery, big portion sizes, and paid attention to all of the modifications. I rarely eat out but I never fail to order sushi delivery at least once a week. This place did not disappoint today! I would order again.

Always fresh, and delicious. Delivery is very fast aswell. + delivery guy is always very friendly, which is refreshing. Hes the one that inspired me to write this review. My only negative comment would be their miso soup isnt very flavorful, but as far as fish goes its always very on point. Highly recommend to anyone :)

Ordering through seamless can cause some problems, but the food is great and delivery quick. The fish and the vegetables are all very fresh and well prepared.

I intern nearby, and after a couple surgeries, I had a sushi craving(don’t ask). This was the closest place and I’m a sucker for linch specials. It’s empty inside, two chefs and two waitresses loitering around the back. The hostess was kind if snappish and impatient despite the lack of customers, and took my order and disappeared. I ordered the three rolls for $ 12, which is a crazy price for what I got?! Most places are two rolls for $ 10~15 but this place not only adds another roll, they don’t skimp out on the sashimi. I ordered the spicy tuna, avocado salmon, and spicy salmon, and they all had more protein than carb. AND it comes with soup and salad! Color me impressed! I can’t speak for the sushis or dine in experiences since I only take out from here(which is prompt btw), but the atmosphere is ‘romantic’ with really dim lighting. Not exactly photo friendly. Dark lighting seems to be a trend for American sushi restaurants, which I don’t understand because food is more enjoyable when you can admire it. But that’s just me. So if you want a quick sushi fix, its lunch time, and you’re nearby, this is the place to go.

When I’m craving some sushi, this is the neighborhood spot I go to for take out. For under $ 20 I get three rolls, an appetizer and a soup. It’s a good deal and everything tastes decent. This is a takeout/delivery spot. there are like two counter seats but seems awkward to eat inside.

This KIKU is the takeout counter(vs. the sit-down joint a few blocks down) and this place, for whatever reason, is vastly superior. Their rolls are delicious, well put together and fresher/better tasting than the other place. The other place is just a little… off. Prompt delivery(where the hot stuff is still hot) and a great lunch special(3 rolls for about a Hamilton).

First time trying this place and everything was pretty good. Had a three roll special, California roll, Eel roll, Shrimp Tempura roll. All three were very fresh tasting. Loved the sauce on the Eel, it had a nice spicy kick to it. Also had an order of Gyoza and they were good as well. Plus they put a little wrapped candy in the bag, more places should know how little things like that really do matter.
